I would like to see how he does in sc2 but then I can't ever watch him play bw again  . Guess we'll find out soonish. | ||

He recently had a few friendly Twitter conversations with Gon and Nada, so I guess it's appropriate that he meets up with old friends once in a while, especially since there aren't really any games going on right now. Leta once randomly showed up to the GOM foreigner house, and he played SC2 for the first time there with Doa, Wolf, and friends. Despite mainly just screwing around and being completely new to the game, Leta managed to pummel all the commentators. I think a lot of BW pros still interact with their friends in the SC2 scene, so I think such rumors should be taken with a grain of salt. | ||

Don't want to distract thread, but yeah, if you lived with someone and played sc with them 12 hr/day you probably would want to keep in touch/are friends/visit occasionally. I mean, zergbong went to things like the KT's coach wedding and leta visited twilight who had been sparkyz. Almost all the old sc1 players went to yellow's retirement game (troll boxer gave him a copy of sc2). It's just people meeting with old friends if true. JD to stx would be interesting, didn't think about it in terms of stx not having to pay Kal's salary anymore. | ||

I think SC2 is way too lame of a game for Jaedong, but he might have no other choice if no other team can afford his salary. And if he indeed switches, then SC2 lameness will be diminished because he will find a way to make it actually fun. | ||

For a competitor like Jaedong, SC2 doesn't offer much prestige right now, so I would be truly shocked if Jaedong did that. | ||

I think bogus/calm/shuttle/hyvaa is a big improvement for backup compared to killer/hiya/shy/perfectman. especially with bogus, STX can put out a reliable terran player on ace maps instead of always having to play JD no matter what (ever since 2008 winners league ended, hiya was never able to step it up like how forgg did back when he was on Oz). trying to think rationally though, the only teams that could honestly afford JD right now are STX and maybe KHAN. KT and SKT1 probably can't afford another S-class player (or can they? lol) and CJ seems pretty stacked with effort/hydra/leta (not sure how much they are being paid though). it'd probably be most fun/balanced if JD was put on a new team created out of the 3 disbanded teams (jd/baby/shine/sea sounds pretty good, and if wookie went there too and proves to become a strong new protoss, that'd be really great). | ||

if JD went to kt/skt the season could be called right there and PL victor practically crowned on the spot cj or samsung would be fine but probably wouldnt be quite the right fit for JD stx needs the talent, and would be a great place for him, as from what i know they treat their players rather well, which would be great for JD edit: i wasnt really thinking, but now i realize that a brand new team could be formed from all the teams that have collapsed and that team would definitely have the potential to compete | ||

As long as JD doesn't retire, I would be happy with wherever he chooses to go. Even a switch to SC2 would be better than retiring...... I don't know what I'd do if he left. That would be so messed up...man..so anxious just waiting to hear the news. | ||
