maybe you can work out an arrangement with someone on tl.net, afaik there are lots of guys here with killer upload who have expressed willingness to help seed (one i can think of is Daigomi). that way you could send the files to the designated seeder and he can seed it for the rest of the tracker, so you will not reach your limit. | ||

 I do however have a request. Would it be possible for you to sort your proleague vods at the end of each play week so they are all labelled in the same fashion and dated etc and then upload a single torrent labelled 'Complete Proleague Week 1' or something. If you don't have the time or just don't want to it's fine and I'll start compiling them myself when I have time. I just feel the more vod packs the better. The majority of casual downloaders want things labelled properly and don't want to have to search for the torrents. Also they generally stop seeding after a week or so. By compiling them into larger packs I'd hope they'd seed for longer. By the way, this is open to opinions from anyone so whatever, give thoughts/criticism. | ||

your other request seems plain silly, larger packs = longer dl and seed time which is a bigger inconvenience for both the uploader and the downloader. plus there's really no benefit to it, it's just your personal preference and i don't think it's appropriate to ask an uploader to do extra work just to satisfy the whims of one person. everything is fine the way it is, hope your router problem is not permanent and thanks for the latest uploads yaqoob. | ||

As far as I know you can select which files in a vod pack you want to download. So if you are missing just one day of a progaming week you could just get that. This in theory means that the dl and seed time should be exactly the same. By properly labelled I mean names of both players and map in the title, in English. Preferably given in the same format for every vod. I guess the main benefit though would be the creation of more permanently seeded packs. Right now you can't get anything older than a month without pming someone who downloaded it and asking them to start seeding again. And to be honest I think that sucks. Also unless you download every vod as they're released then actually getting an entire OSL (for people who collect vods) takes about 50 different torrents, and far more if you want ODT and OSC too. When people download vods as they are released they will seed the last 20 or so they downloaded. If people instead started seeding the last 20 vod packs they downloaded we'd have a much more complete service. Before I brought it up I compiled, labelled and uploaded a torrent for the entire of the last Survivor tournament. It got 283 hits and I'm currently seeding it to 38 people. So I'd say there is demand for this, a large group of people who have holes in their collection and want vod packs. So for the regular vod downloader it wouldn't make so much difference. For the casual vod downloader however it would save them a lot of time and unnecessary holes in their collection. And for the new vod collector it would allow him to make a collection. Quite frankly right now there is no way of getting old vods except low quality dls off youtube and even then, the work involved in sorting them is considerable. But yeah, I admit whoever does it is in for a bit of a task. I found that out when I made the packs I did. But I think it would make a difference if yaqoob just labelled the vods in a basic "X vs Y on Z" format, put them in folders marked 1-5 to stop spoilers and then seeded them as normal. Then at the end of the week just stopped seeding the 10 individual games, copied and pasted them all into a big file called Complete Proleague Week 3 and then uploaded that as a torrent. The entire exercise shouildn't take more than 20 minutes a week. | ||
