EPTIt all started when i changed my Video Card and both ways that i was using to record my Brood War b.net play(Hypercam/Camtasia) just don't work correctly anymore. So i was pushed to search other ways. After 1-2 days of trying a lot of other ways(trust me i have expirience in this) .. my conclusion was that if i wanna play and record in the same time i have to play Brood War in window mode. So here comes the Chaos Launcher part.
My screen resolution is 1280x1024 and when i start BW in x2 Window mode it`s nearly like full screen. This is perfect for recording and playing in the same time. The strange thing is when i enter with my acc in b.net, BW x2 window resizes on it`s own in x1 mode and i can`t change it back to x2. When i get back to Single Player/Campaigns then x2 is available again. I find that pretty strange. x1 window mode is kind of difficult for me to play in b.net. I asked few other friends for that problem and it looks like they have it too.
I`ll be thankful if someone can give me explanation/more info about this problem and how to fix it. My BW install is clean + chaos launcher..that`s all i have. I tryed to changed a few lines in wmode file part of Chaos Luncher file system but it didn't give me the desired result.
Also i found out a solution how to make that x1 window bigger. I just have to resize my screen rezolution to 800x600 and then x1 BW window takes like 3/4 parts of my screen..which is not as good as full screen but it`s playable and recordable i gues. Bad thing is that i don't like the compromises and that is a compromise and not exactly what i need for perfect play.
