Oh, yeah, Jaedong worth more than 100k, I was just saying that the raise could be better put toward acquiring someone of J's caliber.

WC3's fucking amazing, and I'm glad it still exists somewhere in the world (similar to Korea and SCBW, really). I'll go ahead and admit that I could definitely live without DotA, though. But China's a big market regardless and there are enough BW fans. It's like saying Americans care too much about baseball/basketball/football to care about Hockey, when there is a sizable hockey fanbase. Now, what's more in question is their purchasing power.

Just guessing. *facepalms* There is a reason why I posted what I posted on this thread. So far everything has been gloom and doom. But this thread shows that despite enviromental conditions, whatever they may be, some people are living it up very well. You don't give players 100% payraise if you're suffering from economic crisis. You don't resign a player who hasn't even been part of your team for a while because you have no money. You don't give your star player more than the combined salaries of player #2 and #3 in the sport if you have no money. Yes, if it's a case of everyone having no money, it would be one thing. But the rich obviously are rolling in money with huge salary bumps.

Uplifting threads are always a nice change of pace from the gloomy and hack n' slash headlines that seem to draw people's attention so much better T_T

I believe from the last FA thing he stated that he wouldn't leave his team for any price unless he wasn't resigned. Something along those lines. Hes getting paid more than 100k ![]()

Thank you OpticalShot I miss some of these things amid trying to keep up with two games and my life. It's so refreshing to not read any negatively oriented news. (Except Light Girl who I obviously hope the best for )
