 edit: just skimmed through like the whole thread. T______T jeez, so much drama. There are still many things BW fans are hesitant that SC2 is 100% esports material so just deal with it. and NO BW does not "need stories", it does pretty well on its own merits.. | ||

Well, might as well add an Oz icon while I still can. Also, all the other teams becoming even more stacked with great players might actually be unhealthy in the long run, if it means fewer opportunities for young or would-be pro BW players. | ||

Maybe some SC2 teams could play BW as well, I'm sure there are ex-BW pros who couldn't make it through the brutal Code A quals and wouldn't mind going back. | ||

Everyone else like Killer, Hiya, Baby, Sea, etc would probably have an easier time being picked up by other teams. | ||

It really is sad all this is happening but what I find incredible is that no Korean company wants to have the PR image of saving BW, which is essentially part of of Korean culture. I suppose now that the Korean public has found out that it's actually good at real sports like football, golf and Olympic sports, esports has become the weird cousin that you're afraid to show to anyone. At least, that's the impression I've received from Koreans about BW; they're usually ashamed that people make money playing games in their country. All it takes is one compassionate company chairman who enjoys BW and isn't ashamed of that part of Korean culture, and so far there's been zero. You guys should be more angry rather than sad at this situation. | ||
