Sad that OZ is disbanding too. I thought the 3rd one will be STX for sure.
Now we only need one team to be formed from the 3 that are disbanding and the rest of the players to be drafted by the remaining teams and its not that bad. And KIller for KHAN pls !

STX has always seemed quite willing to pump money into their esports teams, judging from the high salaries Calm and Kal are under (and paying tossgirl to promote their brand). The SF team just won the PL too so it was very unlikely to have been STX.
Killer to Khan would be a very good outcome.

Just imagine Jaedong, Killer, Sea, Jaehoon/Tyson, Baby, Mind/Wooki for the first 6 games, then they could choose their ace player depending on the opposing team(ex. JD against Stork, Shine against Bisu, Killer against Zero, etc.) instead of predictably sending only one ace player for all of their matches :p.

yeah the rookies will barely get playtime at all,they will probably quit progaming or move to SC2 or something...I hope they get to continue trying to live their progaming reams.

So sad to see 3 teams less in PL
And as a JD fan i just hope that he will continue to play (tbh i don't really care it it will be sc:bw or sc2 or whatever) because he is f****ing amazing.

Well if there is at least 1 new team, there is a chance to make PL more even in terms of team strength.
With these 3 teams disbanding there is a huge free talent pool to form a really really strong
line-up, a team based around Jaedong, Baby, Sea, Killer, Jaehoon seems quite deadly.
Maybe Samsung can get a good draft as well, combing with their aspiring rookies they could become an even stronger team as well, leading up to a closer overall balance between the teams, making Proleague more exciting (for me, at least)

Agreed, supply and demand: demand graph stays same, supply graph moves to the right as amount of players on the market increases. Result is lower price. So its time to tighten our seat belts and hold on tight, because its gonna be a helluva ride

Uhh things wont change for rookies, now matter how much of them a team has. Remember, upkeep of a player is cheap. Food, very low rent with the tight bunk bed quarters they live in, other low costs. The only real thing about having player is the salary, and rookies dont get any salary anyway. So its basically almost no problem to have teams draft more rookies
