Well woongjin is still actively trying to improve their roster and showing results in PL so its not impossible, but Oz seems by far the most likely.

Its the other way around. Lecaf, K-Swiss and Merrell are all part of Hwaseung corp (sports fashion), which is one of the subsidiaries of the Hwaseung group. http://www.hwaseunggroup.com/eng/business/biz_area.asp?pcode=020100 + Show Spoiler + ![]()

It's been all SKT KT with a lil CJ and OZ(Thanks only to JD) for the last couple of years. The other teams are nothing but filler with very niche fanbases even for BW standards. No one wants to sponser filler material. And how are Woongjin Stars and Hwaseung OZ different from for example Newcastle United in football? Of course, the big teams get the big sponsors, but it's not like the lesser teams can't get sponsors. Only being part of Proleague is worth a lot of money. If your team is successful, it's just a bonus. The teams are probably dropping because they don't believe in the future of esports. I don't blame them considering the messages MBC and OGN have been sending out the last year, like MBC and their wish to turn MBC Game into a more all-purpose channel, and OGN, by dropping their team and negotiating for SC2. If I was a 15 year old korean who wanted to become a BW progamer, I would probably quit now after hearing that FOX and another team is dropping, so right now it doesn't look like BW will survive for much longer, unless some new teams decide to join.

They dropped because they didn't make sense. eSTRO didn't even have a title sponsor, hite is an alcoholic beverage company and WeMade a small MMORPG developer. It's actually a testimony to the future of ESPORTS that there's even a shipping company on board. BW feels in a drag because 1. the foreign scene died for good; 2. the korean scene condensed into "young men that are very good at videogames", it lacks storylines. The last time something interesting happened was when EffOrt reverse-swept Flash away from a Golden Mouse and then... he retires.

The last time something interesting happened was when EffOrt reverse-swept Flash away from a Golden Mouse and then... he retires. Since when do Koreans give a fuck about the foreign scene? The fact that companies not directly related to computer gaming put money into it shows that it is mature as a sport (as opposed to razer, razer everywhere). How does it not make sense? Sounds like you are an american wrestling fan... The main story of any competitive event is the best winning, everything else is a bonus. It's amazing that for such a long post I disagree with every point you make.
