Edit: nvm interest since Flash has given his money to his parent to manage he prolly already has a bunch of investment properties or something. | ||

I heard that in Korea you don't pay rent, but have to deposit the the entire price of the apartment/house in a special account at the bank. The owner of the house/apartment then lives off the interest that they gain from the deposit. | ||

I guess it depends on his lifestyle. Rich people tend to have a higher expenditure rate than others so a mil bucks might not last very long. After he retires, who knows what expensive hobbies/interests he'll pick up (if any). I personally could live off 1 mil for the rest of my life but I'm a real miser when it comes to money. I'm sure he'll spend it wisely though since he has his parents looking after the funds. | ||

You pay a huge security deposit to the Apartment owner, and then you pay rent as well. How I know? I live in Korea and have seen this set up several times before. | ||
