![]() I wonder if MSL will save his semifinal berth if he drops out for health reasons just like OSL saved Backho's Ro16 berth that one time (and had a wildcard tournament). IMO they should permit him to drop out and come back next time in the Ro4, and hold a wild card tournament for his current Ro4 spot including everyone who was knocked out of the Ro8 and everyone who was knocked out by Flash (Bisu, Really, Leta, Grape, Calm, Mind). Wildcard: A. Bisu <Bo3> Really, with Really given 1 game for free; Really has a leg up because he was in Ro16 when Flash took him out and Bisu was only in R32. B. (Bisu/Really winner), Grape, Calm, Mind, Leta all play 1 game against each other. C. The two players with the best records play a Bo3, after any necessary tiebreaker games. D. Wildcard winner goes on to face Hydra in the semis.

And the more he plays through the pain, the greater the chance of permanently damaging his hand ![]() I wonder if MSL will save his semifinal berth if he drops out for health reasons just like OSL saved Backho's Ro16 berth that one time (and had a wildcard tournament). If you are reckless with your health, or unlucky, you will suffer the consequences no matter how much people want to see you do well. It's sad for Flash, but the system can't bend to help him out.

I know b/c I've had severe eczema and your skin will actually blister, crack and even bleed when this happens. It's really annoying and can be extremely difficult to get rid of. I was just thinking eczema.

Hm. So you're saying the precedent isn't a precedent because Flash's injury was incurred by practicing and Backho's was unrelated? The system can bend to help him out --- it's been done before when Backho was "unlucky" --- but if you think it would be unfair in this case I'd be curious to hear why.

![]() reminds me of this. he should wear a partial glove or something. training is all good but just like how boxers wear gloves not to damage their hands, progamers should use whatever's available to protect their hands.

To be able to be up there with the rest of the pros u need to practice like hell.
