Hi
I was for long time intrigued by starcraft: brood war, and finally I bought this game today and downloaded and installed ICcup-server. But I had no idea how to play the game after logging in. I tried to join in some games from the lobby, but they kicked me out and even banned from there.
Then I decided to download and instal that anti-hack launcher, and after that I cannot even log in to iccup-realm because the game says that application is not valid and maybe has virus. I uninstalled the anti-hack launcher but it did not help.
Can someone help me, I really want to play the game.
And if someone has time, I would appreaciate some practise partner.
Thank you.

If you just run the ICCUP Launcher it should run the anti-hack automatically i thought..

1. iccup launcher, 2. open port 6112

Where do i get iccup launcher?

I did all that
except that first part

Needs to be patch 1.16. You can download that in the Starcraft Files section of the iCCup website.

it says that i need to have a certain version before that patch, and i dont have it

Did you try to connect to BNet first to patch the game automatically?

But you did not try or could not connect for some reason? If the latter, please, specify.

I can not connect to battle net either because application is not correct or there maybe virus.
This came after i installed anti hack launcher.

A lot of anti-virus programs flag ICCup's AH as a trojan. I think Norton actually just deletes some files without even telling you. Just disable your anti-virus and re-install everything.
Also, you could try using ICCup's version of BW rather than the one you bought.

In that case, definitely try un-installing everything, then downloading ICCup's BW version from the FTP link.

i think somehow you corrupted the starcraft.exe file. anyway, i recommend uninstalling and reinstalling again. download patch 1.16.1 and if you want to play without cd, follow these instructions after patching. then download the iccup launcher, install it and log on to the iccup server and play. that's how it usually goes for me. are you using vista or windows 7? u can google the solutions for support issues. edit: do not replace starcraft.exe with any kind of cracks -_-

When you try to connect to b.net, do it with starcraft.exe, not with iccup launcher or it will say that antivirus thing.
