Ya I agree. Its kinda like a bigger (and more fun) mystarcraft. I dont think there is anything I dont like (except maybe no coaching.......yet ) you are working your ass off. If I had any kind of knowledge on how to do something like this id be helping you out. But im just a dumb ol tree worker.

The descriptions of matches need to be fixed. I just saw a report of my Terran deep six-ing and then having enough vultures to put pressure on the opponent.

Deep Six

The Match:

The Blue ManToss spawns at 8 while White eqUalize spawns at 2.

ManToss gets 2 Gate Goons against eqUalize's Deep Six.

ManToss warps in a nexus.

eqUalize places down a command center.

At the moment, neither ManToss nor eqUalize is leading in army size.

ManToss is pushing out with his dragoons.

eqUalize figures he has enough vultures to put on early pressure on his opponent so he decides to push out.

As both armies meet, they soon start exchanging fires!

eqUalize successfully fends off ManToss's attacks.

With excellent skills and micro, eqUalize managed to fend off ManToss while losing less than half of his army.

After cleaning up the mess, eqUalize starts moving his armies out to counter attack.

ManToss warps in a nexus.

eqUalize places down a command center.

The battle to decide the game begins!

eqUalize failed to kill off ManToss's defending dragoons.

After that battle, ManToss still has most of his army with him.

ManToss is pushing out with his dragoons.

eqUalize decides to put some pressure on his opponent.

Both armies meet at the center of the map and starts attacking.

eqUalize fends off ManToss's early goons with his marines.

After that battle, eqUalize still has most of his army with him.

After cleaning up the mess, eqUalize starts moving his armies out to counter attack.

eqUalize places down a command center.

The battle to decide the game begins!

With really nice micro, eqUalize kills off ManToss's dragoons.

With excellent skills and micro, ManToss managed to fend off eqUalize while losing less than half of his army.

ManToss 's forces appears to be larger compared to eqUalize's!

ManToss warps in a nexus.

ManToss moves out with his armies.

eqUalize is planting mines with his vultures and... Oh! He's bringing his tank out as well! Looks like this is an attack!

The battle to decide the game begins!

eqUalize's seiged tanks saved the day! ManToss's dragoons had to back off.

Losing only less than half of his army, eqUalize seems to be fine.

With a successful defense, eqUalize starts countering.

Currently, neither ManToss nor eqUalize appears to be leading in economy.

The two armies meet and a large battle starts to engage!

Tank placement and mine placement are equally important! eqUalize abuses his placement advantage to the limit and cuts through ManToss's army!

ManToss has lost about half of his army in that battle.

eqUalize places down a command center.

The battle to decide the game begins!

eqUalize kills off ManToss's armies and continues pushing!

About half of ManToss's army has been decimated in that battle.

ManToss having no armies left to defend, has no choice but to tap out.

Currently the build order mentioned at the beginning has totally no affect on the game... I think this is something I can work on later.

Ah good to know. Any chance you will be adding more teams? I know some of my younger cousins and maybe some friends who would love to get in on this.

I have a question. I only have 2 remaining players in the ISL and they are in groups next to each other (Group 25 and 26). Does that mean if they win their groups, they will play each other next round? Thanks in advance.

@DyEnasTy I might not add more teams in the near future, because the next batch to be added will be a whooping 300+ teams with more than 1000+ players, it will affect the game ecology.

@sluggo Not necessarily, they'll be randomly placed in the next round.

do you think maybe having 2 completely separate divisions (like the one we all play in now is "West" and the other "East") then have the winner from the 2 divisions play against each other. Other than the "finals" no other interaction between the 2 divisions. Its kinda like the way high school football (american football works here). Would that keep the ecology from getting to chaotic?

Are you talking about team league or the ISL?? For team league. I actually like it the way it is now. Very european soccer-like instead of american football since its using relegation and promotion. If you're talking about ISL. not really sure what the advantage would be. Right now its like Champions League, which is pretty awesome (except for all the "free agent" players... if one of them wins the whole thing.. >.<).

I believe you're talking about NBA like leagues?

It's well possible but I'm not sure how to get those players ranked then, will they still count as 1 ecosystem or will they be separated (i.e. the Elo ranking system)? Other than that a completely separated tree might be nice as well.

I think the current system we have is "okay". IMO we're not really prepared to have more teams. I've seen players quit in a week after registering.

Im talking about a completely mirrored, yet separate league. They have their own proleague, 1.1, 1.2, 2.1, they have their own isl, trading transfer. No interaction between the 2 leagues. Then at the end of the season, the 1st place team of each proleague, 1.1 ect, play against each other to determine which league is better. Like an all stars game. Nothing in the current league gets changed at all. You just add a mirrored league with everything our league has.

"our" league can be called "South" (or whatever) and the new league called "North"

I was thinking it might not be too hard since you already have a very good engine and features put in place. Im not like dead set on any ideas, just hoping something I say snowballs or catches you on to something.

I looked over my match results this season and I noticed that a lot of my matches were mirror matches. Probably because most people just look at the map match-up statistics and pick a race that would do best according to the stats (like I do). Is that what most you do?

I don't put too much stock in map statistics, unless there's a large sample size and the imbalance is REALLY BAD, like 10%+ difference

Mostly I just try to predict what race my opponent will send out on whatever map and try to put a player there that's good against that race.

keep checking for a team to open up. took me like 3 days but i got one.

When will this happen? I picked up the game right around when you released it, but my team got given away and I've been waiting for several weeks for a new one to be available
