The thing is, you are absolutely right! For the past 2 proleague seasons January has been trying to develop her younger players at the expense of games for the previous Jangbi/stork/fbh trio -- this most notably worked with great who no one knew ANYTHING about. But guess what isn't consistent? Stork wasn't at the PL game at ALL. Whenever January was rotating her players, her older stars always showed up for matches -- whether it be to cheer on the younger players, or just give the threat of her stars coming in or whatever. This was not January doing her typical thing. This was January letting Stork stay back at the house to practice. This is something that HAS NOT happened before -- even when Stork didn't play, he was still on the bench. It's insane to think this isn't about practicing for individual leagues with this offtime. Stork was hypocritical. It's funny and maybe he shouldn't be so quick to judge someone who's having a more difficult time than him in the future. Leave it at that. I'm absolutely sure Flash and Stork are still great friends so there's no reason us fans should bicker. Feel the love you angry jerks.

If Stork said sorry to Flash (after winning dual golds keke), he'd be the greatest baller in all of the Korean BW proscene. Edit: Thanks to OpticalShot for the very enlightening opening post. This clears up what was mostly e-shit in the other (now closed) thread.

But Stork was talking out of his ass in that interview when he commented about Flash. Nothing changes it. I am still Stork fan and I hope he will win OSL. But he should have never said those words... Anyway, that whole thing, as usual, has been blown out of proportion. I bet neither Flash or Stork care about it ![]()

A new style of PvT will be born (Corsairs anyone?) and Stork will become the new standard of PvT.

I'm sorry to say this but a lot of people seem to be butthurt over something terribly trivial. I really do understand that Stork's words from last year are pretty harsh, and unnecessary, but why does it have to result in hatred? It's good to be engrossed in e-sports and the players but some comments take it too far.

i don't recall such hatred against flash when he arrogantly talked down ssak only to be knocked out by him the next day. stork and flash, among other progamers, have said stuff they have later come to regret. they do not deserve such treatment from the fans. i always wondered why most progamers give us safe and boring interview answers. now i realize it's because of people like some posters here, waiting to attack them with their ow words at every opportunity.

I mean, I do think that was a jackass thing for Stork to say, but I'm still glad he said it, if that's what he really felt. Was he wrong? Sure, and he's eating crow for it now. That's just how life works. We're making something from nothing here.

Yes Stork was probably practicing for the individual leagues, although tbh I think Jangbi prolly is right that he was just watching his teammates on tv instead. January did do this to let Stork practice, and whats wrong with helping out her Ace player when he's under a huge time/practice crunch and has personal trouble on top of all that. Stork and Flash are friends, one public interview a year ago isn't going to change shit, they know its for the public.

If you're going to lock the original Milkis thread calling Stork out, then you should probably still provide the context of Stork's original words, rather than dismissing all of it as a trollbait thread. I mean, if all it is is trollbait, then why even dignify it with a response thread? Why not put Stork's words up alongside your rebuttal? I had to personally dig to find what the hell you guys were talking about in the first place. This is some kind of pseudo-whitewashing, insofar that you disagree with his point but you're not going to let us hear what it was in the first place. If you want to be objective, provide both sides. That aside, the fact that nobody gave Flash the benefit of the doubt last year is laughable in comparison with the multitude of excuses that people are making up via conjecture for Stork. Do we know that Flash asked to be benched that game? Obviously Stork's coach and teammates are going to rush to his defense - what value can be prescribed to those statements, especially considering they were made after the uproar his no-show caused? What we can take at face value is exactly what he said last year. If he really did want to play, he certainly didn't make it known. Stork's not exactly a shy guy. He has avenues of communicating to his fans. If he believes now what he believed so vehemently a year ago - he could easily inform people that he didn't have a choice in the matter. Straight from the horse's mouth, not teammates and coaches defending him. Of course, he's lost that opportunity now, given how long it's been and how much controversy has been caused. All in all, this is petty, really petty, for all sides - Stork included, for making those statements in the first place.

I was going to let this thread go, but I won't allow such replies pass without justifications. 1) I did not lock the original Milkis thread, it was a TL mod's decision to do so. I'm a translator, not a mod. I did my part in providing context by including the link to the thread in the first place. Hmmm, on two threads on the same incident, why would his be locked and mine still up? Perhaps I provided a more comprehensive picture? 2) I'm not going to bother replying to every single speculations you've made, but I wonder, why do people on TL bother reading translated interviews? Since some of you are such awesome psychics, suppose you can read every single progamer's minds from halfway around the globe with next to no context. Good job.

- Coach January of Samsung Khan said that "Stork's schedule these days are incredibly packed, so as a team, we decided to do him a favour. Right now, Stork is practising for his individual league matches." yeah that's right. he lacked confidence and stayed practising.

how badly he lost to Zero. It may or may not be seen in the OSL finals. Certainly there was a good reason to leave him behind, but he shouldn't have said anything if he would have to take it back later. I'm curious to see what Stork says next time he's interviewed, he probably got a lot more shit from Korean fans than he would if we could contact him.
