If the worst case scenario becomes reality for eSTRO, joining the two teams would make for a beastly proleague lineup.

Woongjin and eSTRO together would be awesome :>

but loosing so many players...

Sad to hear it. Woongjin is a cool team - they need some backup this season and some re-enforcement for their coaches. The way things are looking they might merge with eSTRO, which is fine by me. Hopefully Zero and Free can be less burdened and win a MSL/OSL of their own.

Doesn't hite only have six players period? Or was that just right after the match-fixing?

Really sad that teams are falling apart. With the Flash-Jaedong supremacy, it would be really bad if SKT and KT dominate proleague... but what team can stand up to them? lol stx

That's pretty bad for Woongjin. Leaves them with almost no players... Why the heck did they sell Kwanro knowing that they will lose 6 players. Unless Kwanro was really expensive for them and they got a lot of cash from SKT...

Im pretty sure you mostly see in the PL matches now.
(P)free[gm], (Z)ZerO, (Z)Neo.G_Soulkey,(T)PianO, (Z)Crazy-Hydra and (T)SaiR.
If eSTRO disbands mostly likely for Really to join up with them.
Cheers! //¯◡◡¯\\ 문채원 | 한지우 -___-

Woongjin Stars never had (T)MVP, (P)DaezanG or anyone like that. To be more clear, they couldn't make their way to post season with these players.

(Z)Neo.G_Soulkey is just a rising star, (P)free and (Z)ZerO are both reliable players and with 1 Terran that is better than SKT Zergs, they can make it into post season.

This time, Woongjin Stars clearly has the mood to success. And instead of selling (Z)Kwanro to SKT, they could just trade him with a Terran from WeMade and the squad would be a decent candidate for the post season.

Dont they know you need at least four players to be good in Pl and six if you want to succeed in post-season.

The sale of Kwanro makes even less sense now.

They haven't really lost anyone important except maaaaybe Guemchi and Kwanro. All of these players leaving had either no chance of improving to a solid level or were just plain bad and pretty much worthless. Daezang was never going to resurrect to a decent level, MVP was pretty much worthless except for random all kills, and Ganzi has always been nothing more than a gimmick.

The problem Woongjin had this year in proleague was Zero and Free, two aces who just cannot compete with other aces. They've entered so many ace matches, only to lose because either one of them chokes hard when they really need to win. Getting a good terran, unless he's awesome enough to become the team's ace, isn't going to fix this fatal flaw.

Woongjin doesn't need a new Terran. They already have their own poor man's Flash, hon_sin.

This is sad news. Hopefully, some of the players can find homes in other teams and/or SC2.

india? vacation? why there?
