SKT1 is arguably the most successful progaming team, sponsored by the one of the largest SK companies, with the most awards, legendary players, and history than any of the other 11.

Basically, I would like to know your guys' opinions on SKT fans. Do you they're just frontrunners, like Yankees fans not from NY or Lakers fans not from LA?

Btw, my reason of being an SKT1 fan because of Bisu. I see a lot of people here share my love for him.

Boxer and iloveoov is the reason I'm a SKT1 fan and I've been following the scene since Bisu lost to Mind in the MSL finals.

SKT1 fans will say they are cool etc.
Non SKT1 fans will have something negative to say.

I dislike how everyone is all over bisu, only cheering for him when Fantasy is the heart of the team who has contributed way more (and is the successor to boxer/oov). People get so pissed off when they see fantasy instead of bisu, people should <3 all the players of their team!

When I entered the SPL scene, I only knew Boxer. And then I heard about Bisu (during the ClubDay era, the golden age). That's the primary reason why I followed SKT T1.

Also, SK was my favorite gas station back in Korea, and my family used SKT as its cellphone carrier =P

I guess it's because I'm a Protoss player and i chose Protoss because the first few Korean games I saw were of Bisu.

BoxeR's cool, but doesn't make my love for the team.

A combination of (P)

Bisu and

BeSt started it, since i learned pvt from both of them. (P)

IntoTheRainBOw's reaver play absolutely astonished me as well, and for a while i opened every game with 2gate reaver. (Z)

s2 started to really amaze me later. (T)

Fantasy to me has been entertaining, and recently has been getting more of my love with his clutch preparation builds. (T)

MIDAS <3 ^_^ HE'S SO CUTE. and that's it. (Z)

Hyuk is meh. (T)

Canata is girly (but kinda pitiful). (Z)

July i'm a fan of too, but... (Z)

GoRush is meh. (T)

iloveoov is respectable, but to me is meh.

SKT1 is the Lakers of StarCraft. But I love cheering for an underdog so I can't stand by them. It's the teams that spill blood and tears just to advance one inch into champion territory that I love.

I became a Stars fan when I first got into SC while watching Free vs Jaedong in the Ro16 of an MSL. I had read of Jaedong's tyrannical dominance over all Protoss opponents; contrasting that with Free's constant struggle to win (the only dragon to have never made it to a finals despite making it to 3 separate semifinals) while simultaneously single-handedly shouldering the burden of being the ace of an extremely underfunded, subpar team like Hanbit (before Woongjin pimped them out with some bling) that made watching and cheering for Free enjoyable. It was incredibly exhilarating cheering for Free all the way, and I was ecstatic to see an ultimate 2-1 triumph over Jaedong--especially with a baller late-game performance in the third game.

Free's post-game grin matched mine to the tee. From that point onwards I was a Stars and Free fan forevermore.

They're mostly annoying...

Just as much as other team's fans, but T1 has the most fans on TL i think.

I've never been a fan of any team, and i still don't understand how can you become fan of Huyk just because you like Bisu. I always liked Yellow, but i never became a fan of Hery just because he was in KTF too. That doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

I began watching BW 1 year ago after finding some Boxer's games on youtube. Then I was so sad when I knew that he hasn't played anymore. After going around on youtube, I found a guy looks exactly like Boxer and played Terran.
Now, Fantasy's (and whichever team he is in) fan forever.

I just think that SKT1 players should stick to their own damn threads instead of trolling ours. Also, I don't quite understand them. I'm a huge Bisu fan(mostly because I'm a CJ Fan and I couldn't believe someone beat Savior), but I couldn't carry that forward into liking the entire team. Not to say I don't like Fantasy or Best, and hell even Hyuk. But, to me SKT1 is like a bunch of individual league players and not a team. Really damn good, but not cohesive.

I agree that SKT fans are way too harsh on Fantasy.
Other than that, there's so many SKT fans that it seems really stupid to generalise. Every team has bad fanboys, of course that includes the biggest team there is.

i dont have any problems with any fans tbh, people love their teams and get defensive when they go down and joyous when they are winning - its normal. there are alot of sk fans, maybe that plays a reason

i like all the teams personally, i dont have a problem with any of them and they all have good players. i dont know much about team atmosphere and stuff but im drawn to teams like sk, mbc and khan for having 2 strong, top-class players of the same race playing together. i dunno why, it's just something i like seeing

I like Fantasy, even when he went into a slump after yellowing two OSL finals, not to mention he had a great chance for the Royal Road..only if he played TvP like he did a few months later..

I'm a T1 fan because of Boxer, Oov, then Bisu, then Fantasy..

The team too, sometimes the other players own then lose their touch and then own again like the T1 Zergs. There's always something lovable about this team.

Even though they are our hated rival, SKT fans are comparatively mellow, I'd say.

They're much better than CJ fans anyway.

I agree with this. The amount of trashtalk Fantasy gets from some SKT fans when he loses is ridiculous. I know this doesn't apply to every SKT fan, but they should be more supportive towards Fantasy. Otherwise SKT fans are nice.
