I also really liked the moletrap/diggity/cholera combo. They sort of worked really well together and I really liked the overall vibe they gave off. Obviously they didn't have an amazing understanding of strategies like Day9 does, but you don't need to be a genius to be a good commentator. I can't stand rise, klazard, and husky. I don't care what they've done for the community, I just can't watch their commentating. *Edit* Oh and I forgot chill. GOD worst commentator ever. Has no personality or charisma and has the most monotone voice ever when commentating. He says nothing that's even remotely funny or entertaining, and I can't understand why people would like him as a commentator. I think a sack of potatoes could do a better job. (this is just my opinion, if you don't agree with it, that's fine) User was temp banned for this post. Opinions are fine. Being respectful while giving your opinion is something you could work on. | ||

Day9 is a close 2nd Also like Klazart and Cholera, they were the first people I ever watched commentary vods for SC and got me into it. | ||

Day[9] has the best strategic analysis. There really aren't that many good "play-by-play" commentators since everyone wants to add their own opinion. If I had to pick one I'd say Tasteless. Klazart got good at play-by-play in around 2009, before that he didn't really have enough game knowledge. Too bad he retired shortly after. | ||

we need a commentator that does play-by-play stuff while also makign it exciting (klazart came closest although even he dropped off the excitement too easily and often prematurely) this can be balanced by a calmer, more analysis-based caster (someone like day9 might be good for this) | ||
