That man had so much energy and could speak so fast that even if he didn't always say the right thing first, before the battle was over you could be sure he had said them all at one point or another. For SC2 hands down Day[9]. Though I really like it when he and Gretorp co cast. I like that his shows are a full hour. (Sitting down to get my SC2 strategy fix in 12-20 minute bursts isnt very satisfying for me.) He is an experienced player and I have found him very helpful in improving my play. Another pretty big reason for me is that his show is fun to watch and the community that has formed around the Day[9] daily is alot of fun.

j2choe Canada243 Posts June 15 2010 22:00 GMT #144 Honestly, I'd have to throw in my vote for Klazart as well. I got into the scene late, and not long after that Klaz retired which was unfortunate. He didn't have the greatest technical commentary, but man did he ever inject intensity into the game. He was also the most poetic, often employing metaphors and alliteration to great effect. His insanely fast chatter got a bit overbearing at times, though. Other than that, I'd have to say Husky and NukeTheStars were the commentaries I most gravitated to. The others were fine, but were honestly pretty dry to listen to. Tasteless was great as well; his line about how sleeping in and missing work would have been better than witnessing Boxer get 9pool/14cc'd was classic.

HD talks about the game, husky is the john madden of DURP ZEALOT DURP. day is a superhero tasteless/superdanielman are awesome artosis is good but lately seems to love himself a little bit more then usual. everyone else just feels amateur or lacks game knowledge.

My opinions haven't changed much. In terms of English casters, Sean is still the most dedicated caster and has great insight. In terms of color commentary, no one is running away with it. Chill and Artosis make a great team though. Artosis has good knowledge and Chill knows how to add flavor to what's happening, but his voice has a low range, which is an interesting dynamic in itself.

I showed him this quick and hilarious little commentary, and i think it really helped him understand the lure and the excitement of esports, and i got to coach him through his 9 pools he'd do every time over our coffee! + Show Spoiler + Moletrap just gets truly excited over the right parts, and he explains the thought process in his understanding most games, and keeps track of everything like number of gates and what not. <3
