Host: Hello everyone. Today’s guest for SprotsQ is the Korean Air OSL champion Effort of CJ Entus. He is sitting next to me right now, say hi!
Effort: Hi everyone~^^I am “Hawkeye” Effort, the Eye of Entus. It’s an honor to be on SportsQ. I’ll be very happy if a lot of fans participate and ask me questions.
Host: Last time, your teammate Movie was on SprotsQ, but he didn’t seem to say much, and now, not much later, Effort is here. Thoughts?
Effort: Movie is a quiet person. He doesn’t even talk much with me, and he didn't say anything specific. I think it’s better to be on the show a bit later~~after I got the championship and won and everything ^^

On the OSL, you were losing 2:0 and came back to win 2:3. When you were behind 2:0, what kind of attitude did you have when you came to play?
-Um…when I was down 0-2, I didn’t even think that I would lose. The coaching team and my teammates kept encouraging me and giving me advice, and because of them, I was relaxed for game 3. Because it was a final, a lot of fans came, and I’m not nervous when there’s a lot of people, and I perform better.
Did you treat Skyhigh to a good meal after winning the OSL? The Snow’s hair, what happened with that?
-Not yet. I plan on treating the whole team to a huge feast. Snow…it seems he can get a nickname, “Director of Public Opinion and Rumors.” In the beginning when he helped me practice, he asked “hyung, help me get my hair done after you win okay?” I remember I said no, and just moved on…but Snow did a pre-emptive attack in the interview…I’m…ahh…T_T
This time you got the gold. Are you ambitious now, as a Zerg player, to win both leagues, or maybe get a Golden Mouse?
-Everyone has to start somewhere ^^ After I got the gold, I think now is when my professional career truly begins, and I think I should work even harder. Of course, out of all the Zergs right now, Jaedong’s the best and has the greatest hope of getting both Starleagues in one season. But two Starleagues is still my goal, as well as a future Golden Mouse.
You often say, confidently, “I can win.” What’s the secret to this confidence? And what do you think about before games?
-Ah, I think the secret is…um…if I say it’s cause of my handsome face, I’m gonna get something thrown at me aren’t I? [T/N: ROFL?] Um, since I was little, I always thought I was the best, and I guess I brought that into the game. Before my games, I will calm my mind before entering the chamber, and then I will tell myself that I’ve worked hard, so I shouldn’t be careless. I should be calm, and play like I do in practice.
A lot of people say that after you won the OSL, your face has gotten more handsome. Do you agree?
-Oh, if everyone says this, then thank you very much^^ As for me…every day I stare at this face…in the mirror…it’s radiant to the point where I can’t open my eyes…^^;; [T/N: AHAHAHA xD]
Wow, what rare confidence. Then in the three Kim Zergs [T/N: Effort, Calm, Zero all have Kim as last name], what do you think is your advantage?
-The three Kims…what a hard question. I think I’m the tallest? As for in game, I think I use Zerglings a bit better…

When are you going to help Skyhigh with his TvZ?
-I truly, sincerely believe that we have the best players on our team. Skyhigh’s TvZ is really good, but when it comes to live games…there’s some sort of block~I think in the future he’ll definitely do better.
Which player do you hope will one day rise to your level? Even if he’s a different race.
-What a hard question to answer. Everyone works hard, so I hope everyone does well. It’s not like I’m really high up right now either. As for the others players…um…I want to say that Rush is really working very hard right now, I think he’ll do well in the future.
Your nickname is the Messiah, the Phoenix, etc, all related to birds [T/N: Messiah in Korean is related to hawk/eagle], what do you think about that?
-Even though Messiah, Phoenix, etc. are all good nicknames, I still like my real name more, that feels the best. As for never dying…I’ll be a bird I guess…[T/N: This part was really unclear, someone who reads Korean help me out? ;;]
Is your mouse a Logitech Mini? What drivers?
-Before I got into the team I used everything. After I got on the team there’s only 9.73, so that’s what I use now. I use the Logitech Mini Optical.
Effort’s ZvT in 2009 was really good, and recently won a lot of Ts too. Is it your best matchup?
-Even when I did well in 2009 I never felt like Terran is easy. If I don’t practice and win, I’ll practice less, and then my results would get worse.
You seem to be friends with Flash. Seems like an unlikely friendship, and he’s on another team too.
-Um, yeah, we’re pretty good friends ^^ I have a good relationship with all the other players, especially with Samsung.
For a while you didn’t use the ID Effort, but used your real name Kim Jun Woo. Any reason?
-Well, in SPL, you can only use your ID. In individual leagues I wanted to advertise my name a bit, so I used my real name.
Who do you think is your rival right now?
-I'm really jealous of the two Lees because they have rivals... I don't think I could join them.... I wish I had a rival T_T
What’s Effort’s main goal?
-I already have a win in the individual leagues, so I will try to be the player with the most league wins. As for SPL, getting into the grand finals is my goal.

You have a magnetic style and gaze, but unfortunately, you’re very miserly when it comes to showing us victory celebrations. We don’t want you to dance like an eagle or turn into a phoenix, but we hope you can do some simple ceremonies. If you promise us to do a ceremony the next time you win, what would you do?
-Haha, you guys hope I do more celebrations? Even though I want to, I can’t…I’ll see next time I have a chance…Do you know the recent Wonder Girls’ song 2DT? Soohee’s dance? I don’t know what it’s called, I’ll do that for the fans, and exhibit my softer side…
There’s a video of you doing Sorry Sorry. Did you consider doing that too?
-The Dance? You must have seen it during one of the fan meetings ^^; You're packaging it really well; Please forget about it ^^;
What’s your ideal girl? An example from a singer/actor?
-I’m not a big fan of the entertainment industry. Um, I guess I’ll pick Nicole from Kara.
Ooo, that's an answer that will make Flash cringe...
We heard you’re good at drawing. Did you study it? Didn’t you say you learned it from manga/manhwa?
-Yeah, I’m decent. We’re progamers, so I didn’t study it exclusively. I was reading manhwa with friends in middle school and just drew some for fun.
Can you recommend some good manhwa?
-I really like manhwa. I think Dragonball is the best, but it seems everyone's read that. Everyone should go read One Piece.
Recently you mentioned “Thank God” in an interview. What’s God to Effort? Do you go to church?
-It seems like everytime I’m in need of aid, God gives me strength. When I win, I would often be grateful for it. As for going to church…I do live in a practice house, so besides holidays/vacations, there’s no time.
