Most earn rather meager paychecks, and you have to think in terms of long-term security, which for a progamer is probably more or less nonexistent, especially in an environment like Korea. Still, this doesn't make throwing games any less shameful. Also, they didn't intend to get caught. | ||

You're making six figures for playing a game. But you're slipping and progaming is a very temporary profession with no reliable follow-up career opportunities. Maybe you could stay near the top if you could get your game together, but the fire isn't in your eye anymore. Intellectually, it's not hard to understand why these people did what they did. And I will still love Savior's gameplay. But I cannot forgive him even if I can understand it. That kind of selfish dishonesty puts the entire industry in jeopardy all for the sake of a quick buck. It betrays the teams and the fans. On a smaller scale, it's like what Goldman Sachs does. | ||
