Just hate that false modesty when everyone knows he is the best by far atm ,
How do you know he is not being modest? How do you know he's faking it? Any actual proof? Stop being such a jerk. It's this mindset that has allowed him to be where he is know. When he won his first OSL he thought he was invincible and that he was perfect and guess what happened, 2 years of failing hard. The fact that he's always looking to improve himself and the fact that he is no longer underestimating his opponents allows him to maintain his dominance.

He knew Pure had a lot of time to practice while he himself couldn't practice that much so he was nervous... that's not false modesty that's just the truth.

yeah I absolutely agree, I can see where SkelA is coming from cause it does seem weird at first but I think youre right, pro starcraft is soooo much about having the right mindset.

he knows how hard it is to climb back up after a fall, it was evident from his tears after winning his second OSL only after 2 years. and he sure doesn't want to repeat that mistake ever again.

the starcraft world is so unpredictable and these guys practice almost 24/7 to get to where they're at. any decrease in practice time lowers your confidence in winning.
It IS slightly false modesty but he's probably trying to force it on himself. If you tell yourself you're awesome you're not gonna get farhter. If you tell yourself you need to improve you have a better mindset for getting better. pretty simple.

Does anyone else miss his black hair? I do.

Its not about Flash only... like 90%++ of the progamers do this kind of interviews not because they are modest (ok maybe some are ) but because of their culture and being affraid so they dont offend someone with their interview.
Compare that to Stork who always talks what he thinks and isnt affraid to look down on a player . Remember the Kwanro incident. Noone got the balls to say something like that even if maybe half of the progamers thinking the same thing about some progamer they hate

It seems that he not only cares about winning... But also playing as well as he possibly can.

You guys are lucky Stork translations carried out nicely to english. I'm seriously sick and tired of this whole 'stork has character while nobody else does' argument.

Flash is gradually changing into Super Saiyajin mode. No wonder the color of his hair.

Jaedong, Movie and Fantasy are the only players able to stop Flash now. I mean in BO1.

Could you elaborate a bit please? I considered Stork a huge douchebag for what he said about Kwanro.

Let Stork be a bad ass motherfucker that fails hard to the likes of Shine etc. and Flash be the "false" modest guy who win's titles. As a Flash fan I can live with that np.

It's probably not all false modesty you know. Although I'm sure he knows he's really, really good, the true virtuosos always know they can be much better than they currently are. That's why they're so dominant, because they never, ever stop pushing themselves.
Thanks for the translation! Flash is awesome ![](/mirror/smilies/smile.gif)
