I'd hate to see this man go, but I can't help but think this is a good thing for him. I hope he does get well soon. It's not like he didn't have a great career, and he'll always be remembered.

Really hard to imagine this guy was once as feared/respected as Flash is now. I mean I was there during it, just really sad how far he fell.

Pfft, what a load of crap. Flash is a damn good player but nowhere near as scary as Savior was back in his era of dominance. With Flash you can expect other players (Jaedong, Stork) to give him a run for his money, but when you watched Savior play it used to be just to see how he overwhelms the other players' armies. Watching to see him 'compete' was out of the question - you simply presumed that he would auto-win, whether it be against Nada or iloveoov, it was just a question of how fucking awesomely he would do it.

I remember Rekrul saying something about how he ended up blowing all his money on whores though.
