Maybe he was afraid of catching Hite cooties...

He is hoping to win a starleague after all.
I'm going to sleep, let me get some of that carpet.

actually dont why.
But in korea it seems a lot of people are comfortable with sleeping on the floor. Maybe the floor was heated?

Bwahaha oh snap.

Even though he's trying to qualify, not win.

It seems like he's had a chance to shake off the rust of inactivity now.

Hopefully he learns a few tricks in the coming weeks that he can use in the qualifiers.

Yeah, Korean floors are heated so it's usually warmer to sit/sleep on the floor than in a chair of some sort.

I honestly believe that this show must be really trying to cover up how good nal_ra really is, so they can surprise everyone at the end when he actually posts somewhat good results. I mean, check out what he's done so far:

1. BEATEN FLASH. Straight up, no cheese. You can say he got "lucky", but how many protosses have even been "lucky" against Flash? In his last 15 or so games... only M18M, and that was in Winners League, directly AFTER beating Jangbi & FBH & Stork 3-0, and M18M only won cuz of DTs. Previous loss to vP was to Movie in OSL finals Bo5, in a heavy protoss-favored map (eye of the storm, PvT >60% lol).

2. Beaten yarnc, hoejja(i think?), and real yellow (twice), in his WEAKEST matchup (and he beat go.go before he even started training). That's no joke, you could see the other sparkyz progamers pretty stunned by what happened... but the show didn't praise nal_ra that much.

Basically what I'm saying is that they're trying to mold an epic storyline... : the washed-out progamer who sucked, but somehow instantly got better in time for qualifiers. They LOVE to make fun of his mistakes and his obvious deficiencies... but regardless, his recent results are not bad at all, even for a lower-class progamer.

Anyway, can't wait to see more of this show, it's so epic. Nal_rA for next MSL!!!!!!
The probability of Kim Carrier getting all those predictions wrong is similar to the probability Flash loses a TvT. Kim Carrier MUST BE a genius. His only big mistake... STORK.

Don't forget he beat Hogil too~

I hope these wins and him having fun (which I think he is) motivate him to practice his heart out. Nalra making it to ro16 would be surreal.

alternatively, nal_ra is the only person who's taking the games seriously, and the other progamers aren't really playing full out. besides, i don't think losing a few times in practice is at all comparable to losing in a high pressure situation where winning or losing actually makes a difference.

I don't think it's fair to say that other people aren't taking their games seriously. Go.go and yellow, for example, are clearly worried about whether losing will dent their public image.

Yeah, I fear this is the case. I guess we won't know for sure until the qualifiers take place.

It's a TV show. You really can't be sure how much is for the cameras and how much is real in any reality tv show.

he went home on the 22nd and got seat 22 in train 2. that's so ridiculous =)
Also, they did not show how many games Ra played in order to get one win from Hogil/Yarnc, it might've easily been 1-10 considering he played for 2 days straight. He probably played close to100 games.

kind of disappointed of the last show, only showing games vs Yellow. sort of a "fill in" episode. Can't wait for the next one.

Maybe true. The bits of the games he played that they showed did show that Nal_rA's storms were brilliant vs Zerg. I hope he really does succeed!
