Just finished watching episode 3.
I got chills watching that clipped game of Flash vs Nal_rA game 1. I haven't felt that watching starcraft in a long while. Kang Min brought me into watching the competitive scene and his fantastic spurts of brilliance (simply incredible micro that game) still excite me terribly. I was just rooting for him so much that game...
It was such a sad day when he announced his retirement. Never thought i'd see him (or anyone) playing competitively and with any degree of flair again.
Thanks very much for your great work on the subtitles. Very much appreciated!

I noticed him doing it a really long time ago but most recently, I remember a close-up view at the Ever OSL Finals against Movie... He does it so that his keyboard is at the exact same location every single game. If he does it while practicing then it won't throw him off during real games. It's similar to the reason why basketball players do the same routine before every free throw... It probably also reduces the tension on his hands if the keyboard and screen are placed at the optimal distance from the edge of the desk and from each other. It's pretty clear that he is suffering from OCD. If that's the only thing he have to do it's very mild, and it won't effect him too much in the daily life. Just hope it doesn't get worse OCD, which is an obsession, is not the same as a conscious decision to make routines for competitive purposes. He could stop if he wanted, it just may or may not affect his game. I know very well what OCD is, and trying to make everything fit down to the millimeter is a sign for it. It doesn't give him a competitive advantage in SC. Come on now, if that was the case every progamer would bring out the ruler before a game. Never go to a science lab... or a construction site... or anywhere else where anything is done regularly to precision. You will be overwhelmed by the number of OCD people swarming around you. Seriously, though, it doesn't have to be the sort of thing that everyone finds useful to not be something that Flash finds useful. Bisu doesn't care about what keyboard he uses but other players do - does that mean everyone but Bisu is OCD about their keyboard or do they actually have legitimate subjective reasons for choosing to do things the way they do? OCD is a debilitating complex. There's no such thing as a "mild" form of it - that's just called "normal". Everyone has a "mild" form of just about every mental illness in the DSM-IV. What makes it an illness is when it dominates and interferes with one's life. Clearly, that's not the case.
It's mild compared to washing your hands for hours and hours straight. Only rason why I brought it up is that some posters seems to think that his need of aligning his keyboard and monitor precisely right somehow attributes to his success.
Flash is great due to his abilities to play the game, and not from his compulsory use of a ruler before a game.

No one said that. You have OCD.

Thank you so much and sorry I'm sounding nooby here asking this, but is he still practicing? what happened did he get through or lose out if so to whom?

TBH tt was pretty shocking for me to see Flash losing :O

haha, I love that episode - Koreans seem to have a really funny humor... I just keep on laughing when they just say funny stuff like when Kang Min wants the new mouse from Kingdom: "you better give me the mouse!... I mean - can I plz have it?" or when they just keep bashing Kand Min, but all in good fun I guess. ^^'
I must admit that one of my guilty pleasures is also watching Hyung Joon becomes a progamer, but Nal_Ra Oldboy is even funnier IMHO. xD

I love how flash said there aren't any good players in the qualifiers

this beats hyungjoon by miles!!!

The show is currently still being made and just on the air now, you can notice the dates in each episode every now and then, I think the last one in episode 3 was like March 30th or something.
They seem to from about a week before now, so they have time for editing etc.

God that was so epic thank you for this its just fantastic.
Poor boxer he look a bit sad to me it was hard to hear that he thought he was good enough to get through but got nerveous somehow ive never though boxer could be anything other than the man.
Its like when you first see your dad fail lol and you know hes human .
I think nal ra might just do it althrough when flash played hard his was a beast but thats flash if he can improve a bit and gets a good draw he might qualifie i hope.
Anyway again great show thanks a bunch.

Boxer's comeback game against forGG was great until he got killed by 3 vultures... And he didn't really do much after that :-|

Ah, I'll still come back to see these old faces. O Boxer T.T

Lol, Ra: Yellow said 8% Boxer: You sure he didn't say 2%
Get it, 2? As in #2. Is that a crack at Yellow's expense?
Am I reading too much into this scene or is it supposed to be implied?

This show is really sobering compared to Hyungjoon. It's a good show for us "hard core" fans, but lacks the appeal to the casual viewer like hyungjoon. Nevertheless, good shit guys! Keep it up!

You guys are saints for bringing us this show.
