What's sad is that he's not one of those stiff-ass Koreans that doesn't speak his mind. I always thought his insight on esports were outside of the box thinking, and you just don't see that very often in Korean esports. I really do hope he can keep esports as a hobby, especially with SC2 on the horizon.

that guy worked hard to bridge the gap between the korean scene to the foreign communities, imo Idra and Ret wouldn't have had the opportunity to go down korea if Daniel didn't created Estro in the first place... To be honest, I would not be suprised if his retirement from e-Sports is a consenquence of the dispute over GOMTV. With the league forced to end, GOM no longer has any use for commentators. On the other hand, his former affiliation with GOM preety much ensures that KeSPA will never allow him to work anywhere else in the Korean progaming scene. I was hoping GOM would find a different way to continue supporting StarCraft events, such as another Star Invitational or sponsoring another MSL. But I guess Daniel Lee was forced to find a different line of work instead. At this point, I wonder if Tasteless will be forced to do the same. Take care, Superdanielman. You will be missed.
