Also, I would enjoy the music performances if the tournament was in Korea, but not so much in China.

That means he likes Kpop, not Cpop.
Oracle comes in, Scvs go down, never a miscommunication.

hoho, then he's gonna LOVE chengdu, oil is a sichuan specialty like garlicky/onion is to korea, butter is to to france, peanutbutter is to malay, vinegar-thai, etc.

anyway only the very sensitive are moaning. if a dude doesn't like oil then get steamed food, or complete soy-based vegetarian which came out of China to begin with, so on. The possibilities are endless. stork will learn that a big country like china's not gonna have just 1 school of food

He was honest. It shouldn't be construed as an insult to china. Chinese food doesn't fit with his diet and he doesn't like the music. He was scared of catching a disease in a foreign country, like anyone who travels anywhere ever should be.

How is that offensive, really.
Actually, comments on H1N1 and Chinese food were his fault (assuming that translation is correct). The only thing that shouldn't be seen as an insult is his favoritism of Korean pop stars.

hes allowed to have preferences in music but not in food?

and you're far more likely to get sick while traveling, thats not insulting to china either.

I don't see how not liking a certain country's food can be insulting

I, for one, don't really like Indian food. And besides, I know friends who don't like korean food and they tell it to me straightforward, and we're all cool about it.

People are afraid of H1N1 when they have to travel in general, not just to China. That comment has nothing to do with China has more diseases or whatsoever. Some people are overanalyzing stuffs ...

Did anybody else notice? Stork is so self-degrading!

I won due to good luck... I was scared... I didn't think I could win...

But he won anyway. The other Koreans got cocky and got eliminated. Stork played scared and won.

I LOVE STORK!

He seriously simply tells you whatever he thinks during the interview. No boring crap like "I will practice even harder to win more." "It's all thanks to my teammates" "If I push harder, I can win more", rather he tells you "I think that Chinese food is bad for my diet".

Love his last words as well. So supportive! I seriously hope that he can return back to the S-level player that he is and carry Khan once more to victory.

STORK FOR LEGEND OF FALL! DOUBLE CROWN!

P.S. I think that Stork is taking his dieting a bit too far...

why do you think its a good thing to be self degrading...

I think its self-deprecating not self-degrading....

▲I heard that IEF will be in China next year and same with WCG this year, the winner of IEF will also have to go to China, this will be 2 years straight going to China. I am very concerned about H1N1 so I am not feeling comfortable leaving the country and plus I am dieting too, China have too much greasy food so it might affect my diet. Also, I would enjoy the music performances if the tournament was in Korea, but not so much in China. So a trip to China isn't all good (laughs).

I think it's particularly funny about how he's worried about H1N1 because I swear, a new story in K-Pop/K-Drama comes out every day about how <insert star here> was just diagnosed with swine flu.

I don't see anything wrong with Stork's comments. Btw, there are countries which have healthier gastronomy than others, and China is not on top of that list, and I know what I'm talking about having lived in China for 3 months(ok, maybe not enough time to try ALL food over there, but enough to get a pretty good hint of it).

We know this, come on. Chinese/Japanese/Korean (alphabetic order) are bashing the other two all the time. I'm not Korean-friendly and I don't expect him to be Chinese-friendly. I don't care actually. He's someone who plays SC well but I might never know forever in the real life. It doesn't help if he likes China/Chinese food/Cpop. It doesn't hurt either if he dislikes them.

There, fixed it for you.

Not too sure how serious his comments about foreign events are. But travel to another country and you'll have different music/food. Get over it.

Im not agree, Stork is bashing China in the interview, which is totally different thing compared to some random netizen, who's bashing eachother on the internet.

To Stork, I dont care if those food or cpop things are true or not, but being a progamer, I think your main job is playing starcraft, right? Complain about food and chinese pop doesnt bring you a win.

that's just my opinion.
