What they said: "I've been using hacks, I admit it, I'm sorry guys, it won't happen again." What they meant: "I'm sorry that I got caught using hacks, it won't happen again unless I'm sure that I can do it without being caught." Not to say that somebody can't eventually come to regret their hacking, but an apology right after being caught in the act is ridiculous. It's like Governor Sanford BAWWWWWing about how he's so sorry he went to see a mistress in South America only after he got caught. It's obvious he's not sorry, he's just sorry he got caught. Will he eventually regret it later in his life, looking back? Maybe. But now? Haha, no. | ||

Hell i bet most of the hackers are aware of the risks and just shrug it off when their caught. Even if their online personas get caught with them just switch bloody ip and acc how hard can it be??? Ugh i know it may look like im supporting hacking but i seriously dont. Its just that people losing their dignity over something which they can just walk past is stupid. Tough im not that deeply entrenched in the iccup community so what the heck do i know. | ||

Off topic: Always thought one way in sc2 to prevent hack is to record ALL screen movements in replays. This may make the replay file big but seriously, i don't know what hack will be useful if hacker cannot scroll around to see things? (I don't know if for hackers minimap also shows or not but even then, it is not reliable and can be used to deceive the hacker) | ||

Dudes, you just don't hack. The game is fun to play WITHOUT hacks. How about you play the game for fun the way it was supposed to be played and quit having fun gipping people out of a fair game and wasting their fucking god damn time. It's this attitude that it's "OK" in non serious games that makes non serious games such a crap shoot and leaves doubt. That mentality also sneaks into high level matches... if you learn hacking, you'll play all your matches hacking if you don't get caught. About Clazz, it sucks because he was a great poster, but fuckkkkkk, to get from C to C+!!?!?! Wtf. It's so fucking stupid that the permaban is totally justified. How about just being happy at C and working to improve? Like wtfffffffff. My brain doesn't even comprehend. I really want to get to C! I'm low D+! But fuckkkk I'm not gonna hack jesus christ, how does that even make sense. But yeah, I'm not trying to defend his actions, Clazz is completely responsible for his own fate. I just happen to be in the opinion that second chances are important for people to have. I say give Clazz a one year ban with maybe an avatar that shows he's a cheater. Edit: Maybe you could partial ban him. Ban him from the Strategy, Broodwar and tournament forum, but let him keep his blog (and maybe allow him to post in general). His offense was Starcraft related, not life related. Therefore he should be forbidden to talk about Starcraft. | ||
