Woohoo, the first Offer Round is today and i got offered into my first preference as well as two other offers which i don't care about. I was a bit worried 1 week ago coz i got exactly 95.4 which is the minimum that i need to get into UNSW B of Science (Advanced Mathematics), but i just realized that i got the bonus point from the HSC Plus program so all good
Also i met Malcon Turnbull yesterday. He's visiting our crappy school to show that he's "connected with the community and shit" but meeting him was really nice. Grabiel Upton was also there. Shaking hands with famous people wasn't that special like i thought though :/
I'm going to go buy a new mouse today to treat myself after a "hard" year of playing sc2 instead of studying but still got in my first preference, woohoo. I know i said this every year but i'm going to work hard next year because it's real shit in uni. Anyway, enough with my random stories, how did you guys go in the HSC, has anyone got Offered into their first preference yet?

That is a ridiculously high ATAR, so you must be pretty chuffed. It would certainly be interesting to have a chat with Malcom. He is one of the more principled proliticians, if there is such a thing. Hope your course goes well, I went to USYD.

lol man, i don't think anyone would care about your atar 1 or 2 years after the HSC. I know a dude who got 70 ATAR way back and now he's a lawyer and get so much more money than 90+ people back then. But yeah, it's pretty good for your ego at the time when you get them though. In that blog you mentioned you're taking a gap year, so you're returning this year then? good luck man :D
