He wouldn't even carry California today, and they forcibly yanked someone out of the governorship to put his ass there 7 years ago. After (as though it's over) the California budget mess, he'll be lucky not to get tarred and feathered and run out of the state. And that's only because California doesn't have a tradition of doing that. | ||

Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. There's no "clarification" needed there. Born OR naturalized. It's the same for every citizenship case that ever was: if you were born on U.S. soil, you're a citizen. Why should Obama suddenly be an exception? EDIT: ooooh, i see what you're saying. That makes it more complicated. just a sec EDIT2: OK, your case still doesn't hold water, I think. Maybe if neither of his parents were citizens, you might have a case. But any court would say that since his mom was a citizen, that makes him a "natural-born" citizen. | ||
