Yes the food is amazing, yet even a carnivore like me becomes a vegetarian in this country. That's due to seeing hungered down, badly treated animals everywhere on the streets and also after eating some meals with meat, which taste great like all the rest, yet the meat has mostly a strange consistence. Also vegetarian meals taste so great here it really is no problem at all.
Getting along with English here is no problem, yet if you imagine that people here all speak English you are totally wrong, most people speak really bad English, yet the better educated speak it well. Also at hotels, restaurants (apart form really original Indian ones) and at train stations you can get along with English really good.
Concerning pics... I just needed like 10min to load up Email page, but as soon as I find a fast cybercafe anywhere I'll post some.

Trip:
So we arrived in Daman after leaving Udaipur with the nighttrain and walked out into the monsoon...
The next morning we had a nice view towards the rising sun, yet there was nothing to see at all because of the heavy clouds apart from everything getting brighter and totally dark again...
Daman is just like the Mallorca for the Mumbai people, there are many hotels and a lot of bars directly at the beach, though it's like the rest of India so far really dirty and not really a place to stay... Swimming being impossible in the monsoon hit ocean anyway.
So we went on to Mumbai directly in the second calls of some train. With the help of the conductor we then managed to get to Mumbai and not just pass by since our train had only one stop at a train station way from the center of Mumbai. I split up with the guy I was traveling with, since he had a couch from couchsurfing and I was to await the arrival of a friend from Switzerland.
Mumbai is a great city, it is a nice mixture between India and big modern western cities. Although everything here is like 6x the normal Indian price (which is still cheap anyway). I met some really interesting Indian and foreign people during my waiting time here. There are not so many things to do here, but it is nice to just chill at the gateway to India at the coast or walk around the whole south of Mumbai (which I did over the last 3 days). Some buildings here, like the Main Station, University, high court and Taj Mahal Palace Hotel have really nice architecture and it also has some nice museums. The first day I stepped into a Bar here which later I was told by the Indian guy sitting at my table was the place where the terrorist attacks last winter started: Leopold's Cafe... You can still see the bullet holes in the walls...
Tomorrow night we will leave for Goa and later Hampi, deeper into the monsoon... This time we'll go by train in a better class, looking forward to that experience...
