Therefore I am very, very, VERY bored. There are only so many episodes of Canada's Next Top Model a girl can watch before she makes one of these blogs.
So fire away - ask me anything. (Preferably esports related, but whatever.)

A more serious question, how many photos do you normally take in one session?. And how many of them actually make it into the post?

This question cleverly includes the time both spent photographing and leisure time spent with whoever it is with the scene you regularly hang out with.

@geegee1 - I don't currently, but I do plan to play SC2 when it comes out. Favourite gamers from each race; ~ Zerg: Jaedong. I know it's predictable, but I enjoy seeing how worked up he gets himself when he's losing. (aka. The last OSL finals.) His determination and drive to succeed make for some compelling games. ~ Terran: Boxer - I'm only just now getting round to discovering how revolutionary his play was back in it's day through VODs and reading up on older TL.net articles. ~ Protoss: Violet. He's always so lovely in person and it's nice to see him breaking through his own limitations to become something of a map specialist and rack up enough wins to get him to #54 on the Kespa rankings this season. @del: I've made a couple of things including a pretty yummy, but ugly kimbap lunchbox. I used to like eating food from the stalls outside the train station (fried sweet potato, ddekboghi etc.) but I had to stop because of my diet. I wish we could compare irl. I'd love to shoot something graceful and elegant such as professional dancing or ice skating. Anything with colorful costumes and a bit of class to it. I think I'd probably like to make over Hwasin - he's got such delicate and photogenic features that it would be interesting to see him with a different hairstyle and maybe a return to his cherry red 'sniper' colour to match his old glasses. @daz - they do broadcast America's Next Top Model here on a channel called OnStyle, but I'm watching CNTM on my laptop using Youtube. @theobsessed1 - I only do that stuff for scaramanga. @cunninglinguists - I'd like to go back to university and actually study photography formally. As for something else I think I'd like to work in interior design. @AlwaysGG - I laughed when I first saw your name <3 @Schnake - It totally depends upon the individual gamer. Certain gamers such as Savior, Firebathero, Gorush, Piano etc speak enough English to understand my instructions. However, with others it is literally a case of me using Konglish and also physically demonstrating the poses or moving the players into what arrangements I need. I try to do this as politely as possible, but most of us usually end up giggling over how weird it is compared to their normal photo shoots. @hyde - if I played more I'd probably be a dirty, no-gg toss who cheesed. In the early days I used to take about 500-1000 photos per event. Now I'm down to about 200 per proleague if it is a fun team to shoot such as T1 or KT and 50-100 per fan meeting plus about 50 for each individual photo shoot. I tend to vary from using 20-40 for events in total and around 5-10 for photo shoots in the final edits. @MorningMusume11 - not right now. @kerotan - I will be a harsh taskmistress and it will be messy. @heyoka - Well I have my full time teaching job Monday-Friday and in the spare time I get I tend to watch movies, go for walks, shop, listen to music and photograph non-esports things. I'm not very big on going out. Although I sometimes do hang out with lilsusie and the others. I do love visiting the book store (it's my big vice.) and also I used to enjoy sewing back home when I had a machine, but sadly I don't have one here. @lemonwalrus - I was waiting for it to hit 20 so I could do one big reply and make myself less bored ^^ @zurles - I've always thought that euphemism sounded overly cute..... @konadora - I had the white tiger and bear ones given out free from Tous Le Jours, but I gave them both to Samsung Khan; This is the hat I gave FBH at Xmas http://www.nevergg.com/images/fantaken/beathat.jpg @generalstan - in terms of who I find most pleasing to photograph it's currently Hwasin for softer, more feminine photos and Canata for his amazing energy and the life and wit he brings to photoshoots. I like gamers with bowl cut hairstyles such as Backho and Canata - it's a cute style.

1. I hope its not asked, I just went fast past all the questions, so how you got in Korea, how long have you been there and what are your plans of staying there? 2. Are you interested in art in general or its only the photography? Do you draw, sing or play the piano for example? 3. What is the best looking thing designed / created by man ? It can be building, machine, everything... 4. What is your favorite two color combination, for example black/white lilla/yellow. Do you like colorful things or rather plain and simple 5. Do you want to find realization as photographer outside the things you are doing at the moment, or with other words do you want to be a photographer for a lifestyle or art magazine. Which one is your motivation - the progaming or the idea of making pictures? 6. When you presented the BackHo card in a clip on youtube, I thought you are speaking with lovely accent Are you from UK?

@Ypang - I don't ask the progamers for photos. It is all organized via the coaching staff/management and myself. They are requested and then we do the shoot. @disciple - 1. I came over here via being recruited through university to teach english. I've been here for two years now and I'm not sure right now, but I think I will stay at least one more year. 2. I am a terrible artist, but I did enjoy studying it in school (although I failed my exams miserably because I spent most of my lessons experimenting with paint and ignoring the teachers' instructions.) I'm not musical at all, yet I love listening to music and I used to sing (I've done a couple of opera chorus events etc.) I enjoy architecture more than visiting art galleries and I find exterior art (such as nature.) more engrossing and pleasant to photograph than paintings or installations. 3. I adore cathedrals - I'm not religious in any sense, but the intricacy of their construction and the contrast between the delicacy and vibrant colors of strained glass versus the angles of carved stone makes for some really beautiful viewing. 4. I'm a color and textures junkie. They draw me in when I'm photographing things. I actually like the stark contrast between black and white. I'm hoping to do more b/w photography in the future. 5. I think my motivation is a little bit of both. I do find progaming inspiring on many levels and it's one of the main forces keeping me in Korea because it is such a unique opportunity to photograph something you cannot find anywhere else in the world. I do want to go back to University if possible in the future and actually study photography formally though. 6. Yes, I am British. I'm always surprised when people mention my accent, but I have noticed it sounds a lot stronger on film than it does to me! @clazziquai - I've visited Wonju (boring.) Busan - which has a gorgeous beach at Kwangahli and although it was super hot I'd love to go back and explore the more 'seaside' atmosphere. Also Seoul - I think I like it best here because there is such a wealth of urban things to do. I love shopping (although I hate clothes shopping.) and trying out new foods. Also I'm hoping to explore the more historical side during the Winter months.

I enjoy laughing at Britain's Next Top Model because in comparison to ANTM (or indeed most of the others.) it looks so cheap and tacky. I think my favourite is still ANTM because Jay Manuel's creative direction is always interesting and I actually quite like the combo of judges they have recently. Also the girls are so gorgeous and the photoshoots (which are why I watch it.) seem to get more ambitious and creative which each season.

As for actresses I like people like Helen Mirren who can deliver really strong portrayals of women and Jessica Alba because she is hot. 3) I actually love reading novelisations of bad movies - the last one I read was Spiderman 3. They're so easy to read and amusing. I also recently read Tablo's book and it is very inspiring. 4) Korean: Epik High/Big Bang and Super Junior. Outside of Korea: The Cranberries.

Mine is usually just open, open up levels and curves for color correction/adjustment, get rid of any annoying artifacts (dust, flare (only try to, though...lens flare is stubborn), etc) that may be there and that's about it... Also...do you have a wide-angle lens? Most of your photos look very narrow and like they have a lot of depth of field.

Mine is about the same - it varies for interior and exterior shots because I can use flash for my photoshoots/the fan meetings so usually those photos need a lot less editing than the non-flash interior ones. Interior shots: ~ Resize (500px for landscape and 350-400px for portrait.) ~ Adjust brightness/contrast. ~ Adjust saturation if needed. ~ Use blur tool to smooth out any remaining noise. ~ Crop if needed. Exterior: ~ Resize (size depends upon shoot theme, but is usually around 600px) ~ Adjust levels. ~ Use blur tool on gamers if needed (for blemishes/dark circles etc.) ~ Sometimes post-editing involves adding titles, converting to B/W etc. I only have one lens for the Nikon (since my kit lens vanished about five months ago.) It's a 70-200mm lens so it's not suitable for wide angle sadly. Hence no team shots. I also prefer to shoot at certain angles due to lighting and being a left-handed photographer.

I think for me it's been the whole concept of certain ideas over here not being part of the cultural lexicon - such as vegetarianism. It's got to be Esports. It's basically why I didn't go home a long time ago. There are other good sides such as the food, architecture, shopping and friends, but for me esports is such an intergral part of my life here now.
