Personal lubricants (colloquially termed as lube) are specialized lubricants which serve, during sexual acts (such as intercourse and masturbation), to reduce friction with the penis, vagina, anus or other body parts. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Personal_lubricant
I'm trying to find one that I'm comfortable with and that's actually worth using if you: sometimes want lots of lube even though you don't really need it...
- My gf is on the pill so condoms are out of the equation
Water based: I've tried water based lube and basically it just dries out and feels sticky thus not being worth it imo
Oil based: Any tips here? I have used vaseline and massage oil and it's okay I guess.. Abit hard to wash off though but it's worth it. I've never tried warming oils or anything extravaganza, what's good and what's bad?
Silicon based: Never tried it but it sounds really neat! But my biggest concern oralsex... Oil/water is fine but Silicon? Basically it feels unsafe to digest.
Experiences, tips, ideas etc?

Spit / KY for the ass.
Why use lube for oral sex? That's whack G. Have her slobber on you.

I would suggest learning to get her wet but hey, that might be harsh.

THIS
You basically shouldn't need lube for "the front", if you do you either aren't good at foreplay or aren't doing enough of it.(usually the former because it shouldn't take long if she is really turned on)
A problem some guys have I think is they have 2 stages.. kissing then sex.. you can spend a lot of time in between and often it's the best part of sex(anticipation etc)
After you get used to having to get her wet before, it can take under 20 seconds for her to get wet, like quite wet.
If you can't get her wet enough with foreplay(which isn't always your fault but usually is) then have her go down on your for as little as 5 seconds with the intention to get the head fairly slippery and then just go in and out with as much as you can until she gets wet enough. I have never seen this not work.
Sex is MUCH better with natural lubricants.
For the back, just stay away from the tingling/warming/flavored stuff

Getting her wet naturally doesn't always work and isn't always your fault. Some girls just have more difficulty than others. And specially after you already made her cum a few times some minutes ago, then she might have a lot of trouble getting wet again. No matter how good you are at foreplay.
But as for the actual lube. Just like inReacH says. Natural is always better. Just her and you're good. Both parties have fun + you lube her. win win situation ^^

Come to think of it, she is probably cheating on you if her boyfriend doesn't get her worked up. Or she just doesn't like you anymore, it's boring to her. Or you suck at sex.
Pick 2.

to be fair, lube does feel pretty nice
i dont know, i use the packs that come with the condoms :S
|
you shouldn't need any unless you're going at it multiple times in a row or for a reaaaly long time (i only encounter this problem when drunk) or you're putting it in her butt. even without foreplay its usually easy enough for me, at worst you just have to go slow and work your way deeper

Don't use water based. Also, you could try foreplay. So that your girlfriend is ready to do it. That shit might help.

Did I say I use lube instead of natural lubrication? "foreplay might help" lol thank you dr. Phil im going right back home to have sex now
So far: [X] virgins [X] trolls [X] people not sticking to the topic [X] Dr. Phil fans
VIB and InReacH thanks for taking it seriously but I'm not your little brother asking for advice. I'm a grown man who require no advice at all regarding sex itself in a Starcraft forum (thanks though was kind of cute).
People usually are very knowledgeable here but asking a strict question about lube was clearly pushing the boundaries.

Well you were clueless enough to think they are going to make a lube that is dangerous to put in your mouth so you have to take some of the blame <3
Since all kinds are in production can't you deduce that it's fairly open to preference and just trial and error this bitch?
EDIT: I will admit it's annoying when people read a thread and start finding all kinds of stupid alternative solutions to a persons problem.. so sorry!

Wow man chill out I think maybe all that repressed rage you showcased there might be an underlying cause to your inability to keep wood and please your girlfriend.
|
inReacH I know it's not dangerous but rather, unpleasant was what I was trying to say but that might have been lost in my mental translation ;p but yeah point taken.
I could of course trial and error but I sometimes you get tips like "Try this stuff it's the best because of blablabla" and you have something to try first =p
fanatacist I usually quote you and go "haha" because you are rather funny, no rage

Whats the point of lube for anything but anal? If you need lube for vaginal just learn to eat the pussy
As cleverly graphically illustrated with TL emoticons in this thread.
