Hi Coders
Just wondering where you browse for discussions and help.
I've being reading devshed + whirlpool programming section but most of the threads are the help me do my homework crap >.<

newsgroup and irc are good but i don't have time to follow them. ubuntu dev spammed 240 msgs to my gmail in 3 days >.<

application dev, C/C++/Object C/ C#, java
php/mysql

not really into web design.

so yeah, what do you recommend?

I don't visit any forums regularly, but sometimes when I'm stuck I google my problem and see what pops up, or when I'm learning a new language I search for common library functions that I know must exist in the language.

For programming-related Q&A, I like StackOverflow. It has a very large base of experienced developers, so even the most obscure errors or problems can often be solved.

I'm the same as you, i don't really visit any particular forum usually. But i guess i want to find decent, well presented forums.

Most of the problems i'm into now are beyond the simple google search. I guess i'm looking for more of a do it properly and explaination on concepts rather than syntax problems.

Omg, stackoverflow is like the best site EVER, i use it so much at work.

Java ranch is not bad.
