Why is it that over two years after his fall from glory, people still root for Ma Jae Yoon? Because in his play, we saw something that so few others have displayed, and this commentator nailed exactly what that is.

Even Flash seems limited now and then by the strategy/build criterion. Jaedong lacks in that area too...though it crosses over with reaction in the sense that it's more like dumb decisions that lose him the game.

sorry jaedong has great micro/macro , strategy/build reaction/mind control/concentration and discipline/practice. And i think a few other pro gamers excell in all of these too.
An example for each:
1: Jaedongs hydra/lurker/defiler late game switch was a brilliant strategy/build against Flash on rush hour, his zvz ling run by against practice to force practice on the defensive, (and taking advantage of practices weak army control) even when they have a bigger ling army than jaedong
2: mind control/reaction/concentration, 2 lings/1drone against fantasy was pure mind control. his reaction/concentration is probably his weakest aspect but id say its still pretty dam good compared to other pro-gamers
3: He is a beast at both micro and macro.
4: Discipline? 50 games a day seems like good discipline to me

as for discipline, nada and julyzerg have proven they have the best discipline so far imo, since they have been at the top for a very long time now, and savior did slump due to lack of practice.
