I really hate to make something of a useless blog, but I'm on my laptop at the moment because some Terran is trying to (I think) disconnect/drop hack on me, and I think I've won some good will with my FE.
So it's been a really long 45ish minute game on andromeda, and it's been kinda back and forth but I've had the advantage the whole time, and finally I overwhelmed his main with guardians and devourers (stupid valks) and then I see the disconnect screen, and the last time this happened ICCUP just dropped the game and said the results wouldn't be recorded, and I thought that the guy could have legitimately disconnected, but this guy hasn't lagged the whole game and he wasn't manner to begin with.
So I'm stuck. I don't really know what's happening, and I don't know if I should just drop him and make a complaint (which I don't know how to do) but thankfully it's pretty obvious that I won this game, or if I should wait him out, which seems pretty senseless.
To be honest, I don't really care about the points--it's the principle, but I can do everything I need to do/want to do on this laptop if y'all think I should just wait the guy out.
Sorry about the useless blog, but I'm a little flustered right now because I played an awesome game and I have no idea what to do.

Report it on the iccup forums, I used to have to do this probably once every 5 games, you get the points and they get a warning.

I think you can report the game on the ICCup website? However, don't go in expecting the optimal solution. No bashing on ICCup but my personal experiences with ICCup officials have all ended in either failure or a very very subpar solution.
edit: so basically don't try to wait it out. he probably dropped and is playing his next game looking for his next victim.

Get used to having to upload replays. People disconnect all the time on iccup. My experience has been very positive with the staff. Never be afraid of leaving/dropping him, if you got the replay, and it shows you winning, you've won.

Alright, thanks. You're probably right in that there's no good in waiting, and I'll try to report anyway in hopes that I'll get the points and he gets what he deserves.

If you report it properly, you will 100% get the points, and he will get reset and possibly banned. Just make sure to save the replay, then just goto the abuse forum, and follow the guideline to posting a disconnector.

Stop caring so much about your stats, iccup admins are doing the best they can to handle the complaints. I never had any problems with them at all.
