dude.... GL. Keep killing them, that battle will go on for about a week before they stop showing up. Man I remember waking up in the morning, killing 10+ flies, going to class, come back a few hours later, kill 10 more flies, do w/e I do that day, then kill 10 more before going to sleep, and continue the cycle the next morning.... sooooo annoying.

put rotting fruit outside of your "suite" to try and lure them away?

Take bowl, fill it with balsamic vinegar (don't know if regular vinegar works as well) and wait. Fruitflies tend to drown in it fairly quickly and in huge numbers.

Remove all things they can feed upon and they'll disapper pretty fast. Electrical swatters and vacuum cleaners are win too.
