I dunno why everybody makes such a big deal about this. I stay up 48hours + once a month i'm kinda used to it but still. I mean if you just keep drinking water and eat something there is seriously nothing that can happen except falling asleep -.-.

People have been awake for 12days without getting any symptoms they could die from.

and those those koreans that died after 2 days not sleeping is because they didn't drink/eat at all and had a really shitty health to begin with.

I kind of want to agree and kind of want to disagree...I don't really see a problem with staying up for a few days in a row, I stayed up for 60-something hours a few years ago...

Hallucinations DO happen even though I was eating on a regular schedule and drinking water/gatorade/soda and whatnot. Mainly I started hearing bits of music (someone said that before too) and would fall into almost like a waking dream where I would think about someone saying something and respond to it when no one really said anything. I never really lost my motor skills.

It's certainly not healthy and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone though

I remember the last time I made a road trip from Germany to Bulgaria. It was one of my toughest experiences ever. I drove roughly about 24 hours, having a small breaks to take a snack and a coffee. After one hole day without sleeping I finally got home. I felt like I was fucked by a train, so went to sleep right away. My brother came to cover me with some blanket because it was a bit cold in the room, but somehow he woke me up. He scared the shit out of me and I punched him in the head with my fist, it happened very fast, like a natural reaction. He didnt say anything, but after that he told me he was sorry about waking me up and that he knew that I was not responsible for my actions. I feel enormous guilt about what happened that day. So pls dude, go to sleep. Ppl need to rest

well, my friend had fallen asleep a few hours after i made this, so i instantly went to sleep when he told me i won. Time awake? 61 hours, 13 minutes.
