The gate at the entrance to the ferry which carries you over to the island. Our friend told us it was a stronghold for Korean soldiers against the Japanese at one point and is named after General Nami who led the troops. There was a rock at the island inscribed with his poetry.

The exit gate down by the small jetty for the ferry. It was a really pleasant getaway and the air seemed much cleaner and fresher than in Seoul. (Although I love my city life too.)
