No wai. Really mind-blowing finding out that someone you meet randomly online could very well be someone you know/see everyday haha. I'm planning on meeting him on Tuesday when school starts by taping a TL.net sign on my back and waiting for him in the library lol. Hilarity will probably ensue.   | ||

Oh, Klogon and I went to the same church for like five years, until he went to Pennsylvania for college. His dad's the pastor, actually. Haha that brings back some funny memories. I started playing Starcraft seriously after losing horribly to Klogon in seventh grade. And of course, he introduced me to teamliquid as well. | ||

also de4ngus goes to the high school I graduated from. I've met a few people at semioldguy's finals parties like randomkorean and diggity, though I guess the latter doesn't post much on TL but he's still a cool guy. lots of TL go to ucsd, so I guess I might meet more eventually. | ||

Ive meet TL peeps at different WCGs , alot of them at wcg finals in Seattle. People who live close but dont play anymore that i know personally. TF-Brad (meth kills,or jails ) L0st_T3mple(WOW victim) TF-Megabust(plays some mostly still d2,fucker) Waxoff (got him playing a ton agian woot woot) Also Generalstan was going to school here not sure if hes still in town tried meeting up with him but he wouldn't answer his door. Hahah | ||

there was a topic about where the game company was from (obviously from irvine like everyone else) then I was like "cool I live in Diamond Bar, thats pretty close to there" then the next guy was like "lol I go to walnut high, cool we go to rival schools xD" then i pointed out i went to walnut also then it was like a WTFBBQ moment. I got warned for spam though xD yea we met at school and everything :D since then i have transfered to Diamond Bar High and i know omgirok goes to MY school. all the other bw closet nerds are just lurkers on TL having an account just for liquibet | ||

But LurkerDesu is from a university at the end of the avenue where my school is, never saw him though. ILoveKTF, I used to see him a lot in Garena, he usually plays DotA but now I don't know what his ID is if ever he has an iCCup account. I used the admin functions to track down one member who logs in from my employer's network. I PMed him asking if he worked for X and yeah he did actually at the same location as me. But I think he got scared from being tracked down like that because I never heard from him again. Edit: Oh yeah and I know a ton of people from real life events. | ||

Almost everyone has been super friendly and cool to meet in person. Though it seems like the site is full of trolls and assholes sometimes, that's much less the case when you meet people in person. Today, the only 2 members I see regularly are Eminencia and FakeSteve. | ||

I've met over 30 who live in or very near San Diego and have been over to my place. My roommate from last year who is not involved in Starcraft at all moved to London; there he found that his new and randomly assigned roommate knew who I was because he's on Team Liquid. | ||

I didn't know it but a person I was becoming friends with, Kyle (DS-Snow), was someone I had played with on Starcraft. We knew each other in real life before we met on battle.net and said our names, and we were blown away and really, "wtf lol" the next day. | ||
