Cons: - More expensive ($184 base price, ~$45 shipping/handling) - I must assemble it myself (never assembled a bike before) - Minor problems with shifting gears
Pros: - Cheaper ($158 base price, $1 shipping to store) - Can have it assembled for me at Wal-Mart - If there are any problems, I can have Wal-Mart fix it
Cons: - Worse bike (from the reviews, the materials are cheap and are no longer as high quality as they were when the product came out) - Wal-Mart is NOT experienced with assembling bikes, could be many problems - Many people had big problems with shifting gears, tape on handles peeling, etc - A lot of good reviews but some significantly bad reviews
Considering everything, I still don't know which bike to choose. I can afford the more expensive bike but I'm really flinching at the ~$45 S/H fee. The cheaper bike has a lot of problems in some reviews while others don't mention them at all. Of course, neither bike will be flawless, as they are really cheap road-bikes, but the 700C is by far the better bike.

Men's GMC 22.5" 700C Denali Road Bike Bike assembly is pretty simple, you just screw in a couple of bolts. It'll take a hour tops if you know how to work a screwdriver. I mean, it's 70$ more expensive, but if you afford it and if you'll be using it semi-often, why not? + Show Spoiler +
Those prices would be way to cheap for me for a new bike. I don't really think that you can get quality for $158. On the other hand quality bikes are still good after years. So i would rather get a used bike that was expensive some years ago than such a cheap new one.

True that. I just bought a 20+ year old Peugeot road bike for 90 dollars and it's still in great condition, and it looks sexy as well.
I was reading through the bikes section of consumer reports and one point and they strongly recommended going to a bike store rather than a mass retailer like walmart/target/etc. Unless you are already more or less an expert on bikes, it's better to go with a specialist. Unless you don't plan on using your bike much, in which case the cheap, quick, and easy bike makes sense.
Yeah go to Craigslist, I got a great bike for less than 100$ and was much better than the new one I had previously bought from a mass retail outlet. So yeah, used bikes are great.
