Okay I'll avoid the confusion over if I'm being racist in this one. If I refer to my lecturer from this point forward as Russian it is only because she has a thick accent. She's a nice person even if a little dim but that has nothing to do with being Russian.

So our second midterm was on wednesday and as with the first one it conflicts with my History class, the Midterms are at a different time than the Lecture because they need to have 200+ students total taking it at the same time so they reschedule it later that day. I didn't know this and scheduled a History Class in that time frame and have to do make up midterms/finals this quarter.

Anyways so I go to her during class and remind her that I need to take a midterm and we schedule a time to take it. The math department has a policy against taking midterms early so that people can't tell their friends what's on the test. Long story short we scheduled it the next day (Thursday) at 12:30 because I was working earlier, our lecture is at 1:30.

This is where the fun begins when she tells me where to meet her for the test she tells me to come to her office at 12:30 on Thursday then writes down the room and building for me. MN 300

The problem is her office according to her syllabus and everything she's told me during the quarter is MA 330

I tried sending her an email but she didn't receive it in time so I ask my recitation teacher she ponders over it for a minute and asks "Is there even a building with the code MN?" then reccomends I just go to her Office in MA 330. The day of the test I'm still wondering where to go so I open up the huge map of campus (Ohio State) and look it over and considering the fact that she has the midterm scheduled right before our lecture I'm looking at the two building locations.

Her office is right next to our lecture hall so I'm thinking "Hmm okay that looks good wheres MN?" Then I find that MN is 10 streets down on the VERY south end of campus and determine okay she must have meant her office in MA. The day of the midterm I actually have to leave work early in order to make it to her office in time and I knock on the door and wait...

and wait...

and wait......






and wait.

I knock again... and nothing, so I figure okay she's late but the problem is this hallway is so narrow that I can literally shimmy up the walls by spreading my feet apart and jumping so I'm blocking most of the hallway by standing there. But if I miss this midterm my grade is fucked so I stay there for half an hour. Yes you heard that right half an hour and she never shows up. At this point I'm freaking out thinking "Did she honestly expect me to go halfway across campus take a 45 minute test and come back in time for lecture?" But I decide to wait and see if she shows up.

She never shows up and I go off to Lecture and wait her to show up so I can ask her. She comes into lecture five minutes late and when I ask her about the midterm she gives me the most blank look on her face and says "Oh, was that today? Sorry." And follows it with "Well can you come and take it tomorrow?"

So here I am in a computer lab after taking the test on campus because I work in an hour and a half and am annnoyed as hell because I had to come onto campus when I don't have class to take a test I should have taken yesterday. Feh I wanted to scream at her or yell or get angry or SOMETHING but I had to behave because I figure if she forgot about the test completely she probably hasnt written the makeup yet and if I yell at her she'll write a really hard one just to piss me off. So I basically had to stand there and pretend to be nice about it when I wanted to scream at her. It's piss annoying
