Have you ever won any contests/promotions?

This brings my win count to two, as I won a Flip Video Camera from facebook a little over a year ago. My roommate won an iPhone last year in a contest from somewhere I forgot. so, have you ever won anything?

A hamster and a trip to universal studios/disney world. Oh and some stupid plaque. And I met a local newscaster (which, when I was a kid was kinda a big deal to me I guess). Come to think of it, it's stupid that I used the rest of the money to go to disney world/universal studios. My parents probably took it as a way to go on vacation at a discount, and they probably would have taken me even if I didn't win any contest. Oh well. On second thought it may have been more money so that it paid for the trip and whatever was left over went in my college fund. It was at max. $1,000 dollars. Can't remember the exact amount.

I got a free trip ( one week ) in Eastern Europe ( Poland and Hungary ) with the 9 others first people. It was quite cool and we visited different places, some regarding the subject of the contest ( like Auswitchz and Warsaw ) and also several touristic places, ( a salt mine, Balaton lake, Kraków, ... ) Also two nights at the Hilton in Budapest is sooooooo cool.

I was checking out the game "Marvel: Ultimate Alliance" on their website, and you had to sign up to get into some part of the site. Well -- Turns out, when you sign up you get thrown into a Wii drawing, and I happened to randomly win. Was pretty awesome. Other than that I've not won anything worthwhile 'randomly'. I did win a couple of computers from Blizzcon 05 and 07 though, from the costume contests (Marine and Ghost). I don't really consider those 'random' though, considering I earned them.

As for what I've won, well, all small events, one SC LAN, one programming contest, several local guitar contests, some school contests at math and languages, that should be it. Oh yeah, and a diploma paper contest at university. I got Casio watch with engraving and a huge red diploma.

Lotteries are a bitch lol. Only time I've won at lans are small ones that are against pretty mediocre players so nothing to boast about really I guess, I just happened to win cuz I spend way too much time following games. Over a span of probably 5 lans total in the past 10 years I've got $200 cash total 2xrazer mouse, cd binder, random headphones, a 24inch widescreen lcd which is probably the best thing I ever won but I gave it to my cousin for his birthday.

The backback was won at a gamesports starcraft stream, where you could vote for which team is winning. Only 2 or 3 people registered and took place and i was the only one right, so i won

Every week the paper would post a question related to geography or world events and kids around the city would submit their answers. After 2-3 months they took the names of the kids who got all the answers and held a lottery drawing and I won! I also got my name and picture in the newspaper! What's funny is my geography teacher told us the questions were for homework and never mentioned the contest or prizes at all. The specs of the pc I won? Pentium 75 and I think 4/8 megs of ram. Aaah the good old days It's with this machine I actually got my start with Starcraft. I believe I JUST met the minimum requirements to play Lucky me!
