Could you add some sprite to show when your plane is leaning toward left or right? it would look nicer. Also, the most left or right planes are unreachable, thus unkillable.
And your plane is quite slow :/ And no options at all?
edit : by options I mean weapons upgrades, shield, speed, bombs...

I was gonna make the planes spawn slightly further from the edges, but got lazy... and I think it's ok if you can't reach every plane anyway.
Yeah the plane is slow... that's the recommended speed though. I could increase the speed by changing one setting.

Micronesia i understand that you don't have to reach every planes, but actually this is what makes the difference between a good game and just a random game.
If you *could* actually reach all the planes, but it would be hard to do so, then one can actually see a challenge, and then enjoy himself trying to beat that challenge and set a high score (think parodius, any shoot'em up really)
You're supposed to be able to kill'em all, god dammit!

I played this game way bacak when it was on the Amstrad. That was a long time ago though so I can't really remember it that well (though I do remember the noise when the large plane or whatever it was came on and started spewing bullets).
825 Points first go anyway. Regarding your game I just want to say plz don't ever set the fire button to the space bar ever again =/

You're supposed to be able to kill'em all, god dammit! It's impossible to kill them all regardless since they just regenerate as soon as you kill them lol

for a Grad class? I made this same game in 7th grade o_O, and then I made it even better by adding boats and all other sorts of things. I think I still have my version, maybe I'll post it here when I get the chance. Hopefully this is just the beginning of your grad work .
