You ever noticed that for some kanji you need like 10 sec to memorize and others I learn for 5 hours and still can't remember them. It just makes no sense. I studied grammar and vocab for like 5 minutes, it's like sooo easy. Looking forward to drinking my brains out tonight and wiping out all the kanji filth from my memory forever!   | ||

Cheers Nah seriously. I probably shouldn't talk because I'm a Chink but Kanjis are the easiest in the world. All you need to do is recognize the pattern like what goes with what to make that character. why would it go with that to make that character. like 男 . The top bit means a farm field, the bottom bit means power or strength, because you need strength to plow the field, you need a male thus 男 means MAN. Then just repeatedly write the character 20 times then forget about it. When you need to use it and you can't remember it, find it and write it 20 times again. That's how Chinks learned it and we have to learn like 8000 before high school ~_~ | ||

In my Japanese class we had an exam on Swedish grammar, apparently we need it to be able to translate properly or whatever, and i failed HARD! how shitty is that, might not be able to advance to the C course because i failed SWEDISH grammar of all things. がんばれ！ | ||

So if you went to Chinese school or the like when you were little Kanji's going to be really easy for you to remember. Likewise, it's much more difficult to learn a language after your brain has finished developing. | ||

If your japanese class is anything like my friends, I wish my chinese class were like that. Yeah you gotta learn chinese characters but jeez reading (TONES) and writing (so many different meanings and characters for the same pinyin) is a fucking tumor. With that said, hope you do well on your exam~ | ||
