As you can probably tell from my tone, things didn't work out as planned. I don't know if I was unlucky with my opponents (or lucky since I want to improve and not brag with stats), but I didn't start too well.

In my earlier entry I wrote that I was decent at PvP and really bad at PvT, it might be the opposite, but it's probably waaay too early to tell.
PvZ 0-0 PvP 1-5 PvT 2-0
I've played a few D+ players, but since it's my goal to at least reach C-, I should have beaten them easily, but I got beaten by both.
I've also come across some very weird bos. One of my opponents built 3 gates early on while I was 1-gate teching. I was afraid of mass zealots so I built a shield battery at my choke and added a second gate. So far so good. Thinking (and not scouting) he was going for mass zeals I said to myself: "screw detection, that would be too weird for him to do". Yeah guess what? 2 dts on their way -> gg after 6 minutes.
I will play about a week before posting the next blog entry with a little battle report including screenshots of the most interesting game. Once again, I encourage you to add me (the acc is "iccblog") and play me. I've added the guys that posted in my previous entry, but none of you were online (salv was afk), time zone differences I guess.

IMO at D lvl PvT is really easy, 1a2a3a4a and thats it

Why does the question bother you? There are a few traditions because people can't communicate in more creative ways when they speak different languages. If you don't want to tell them where you are from, you have options to say other things. Otherwise, just say Germany or w/e. It's fun to hardcore lie though.

obv. depends on what T is doing, but you can get away with it if you get that far into the game.
3-3 tank/vult=gg if you 1a2a3a4a though. (not to derail the thread, just saying...)

well, that question is useful because some games do lag. For example, I usually get a lot of lags from people from Eastern Europe or some where like all the way down in South America.

Omg this just reminded me of one of my last ICCUP games.. the korean kid says "From?" and I say "DickLand" and the kid kept asking the whole game where dickland was and he would try to guess by saying... in Europe? etc... I was rofling so hard xD

that would make sense if people would ask that before the start of the game, but that's not the case usually. I don't know why I hate it so much, probably because I'd like to concentrate on the game instead of answering pointless questions.

I once got into a giant macrofest with someone where we were both going pure mass goons, and I didn't want to waste any resources at all on teching to obs or to storm.
I contain him at his nat, and he realizes I have no observers with my giant army so he breaks out with like 8 DTs and while I'm running frantically back to my cannons at my base he kills a third of my army and storms over me with his goons.

I am pretty sure that zerg takes less micro then protoss, since were all obvious ignoring positioning and flanking. Zerg has to 1a2a3a4a5a6a7a8a, and protoss has to 1a2a3a4a5a drop reaver and or storm, so CLEARLY zerg is easier?
