I still don't have a grabber, and still doing research which to my surprise there is few tests that actually support the subject, most are just tests that draw no conclusion. What the hell did I get myself into with this class...

paper 13196 Posts October 01 2008 18:27 GMT #2 there are plenty of news articles that connect violent events and video games. email the writers and find out where they get their numbers. i mean, if the few tests draw no conclusions, isn't it in your favor?

micronesia United States24752 Posts October 01 2008 18:38 GMT #3 I don't know what this blog is in response to or following up on, but judging by what you wrote in this OP there seems to be a problem where you are making the claim that there is a specific way in which violence in video games does not affect behavior. That's not exactly how it works though. It may just be semantics, but I see it as video games potentially being a cause in changes of behavior, but if these changes are insignificant, then there is simply a lack of a connection. The topic could be 'violence in video games does not appreciably affect behavior' or 'why violence has an unexpectedly small impact' or 'how it can be shown that violence is only connected to bad behavior mistakenly' etc.

There is correlation, but you need to show that there's no causation and up to this point that claim is true. I think there was a study done by a couple from Harvard that would be useful for you.
