3 out of the top 4 are toss and iloveoov nowhere in sight? toss never had that kind of dominance (the only toss in the top 10 elo peaks is stork) where are the golden mousers? july died of fats? yellow>boxer?!?!
garinto has better pvp stats than nal_ra!
sorry for bitching.. but what the ....???
obviously its flawed because if you put real values indicative of players respective peaks, iloveoov would have taken the entire thing without losing
Well my theory is that players rise because they found a way to beat the best. So that would mean even in their prime, wouldn't the modern players win anyway?
SImulator is certainly subject to assumption and parameters. What are they in Flash one? Is Toss given more weight that it comes out with 3 tosses and how many times you simulated otherwise, BIASED!!! I bet if you replicate the work it comes out entirely different. 4 Terrans hopefully XD Why dont you try many times and compile the results
if their prime. I would want to see Chojja there
This is reaaaaaally inaccurate imo. Garimto couldn't beat Flash and Nada without insane luck (this is assuming games were played in respective players primes), let alone make the finals over Jaedong.
Haha sure!
If it was REAL (players skill was their skill during their prime):
1. Iloveoov 2. Savior 3. XellOs 4. NaDa maybe...

Xellos third? Really?

hahah sick results
But in all honesty Garimto would get horribly raped, even in his prime, he wouldn't match up to many of those guys.

keke, yeah cmon what kind of simulator is this? it has to give us VODs to prove who actually won.
loL, yellow > boxer. It makes sense that Nal rA should win, clearly teh simulator is rigged to honor his recent retirement.

Simulation is flawed! Stork didn't get second!

Then he hit that never-ending slump. Is he even out yet?

Many of the old-school players dominated totally in their prime, but their actual skill level was inferior to some lesser players today. They were really smart, but didn't have the mechanics to keep up with today's players.
there is absolutely no way savior would lose while in his prime the only players I can see beating him are bisu and oov

(Z)Jaedong < Bifrost III > (P)GARIMTO (Z)Jaedong < Sin Peaks of Baekdu > (P)GARIMTO (Z)Jaedong < Neo Requiem > (P)GARIMTO (Z)Jaedong < Ride of Valkyries > (P)GARIMTO
Oh god these are the worst results in the whole thing GARIMTO winning on two Z>>P maps (bifrost/rov) and dropping requiem one of the best PvZ maps ever!!
pretty hilarious results. very amusing xD

Maybe I shouldn't be surprised, considering you view BCs as a valid strategy choice in 2v2 :/

Obviously he won't hit his prime until he stops hitting the fridge

nada would never lose in the group stages
Yea, the terrans really got the short end of the stick, especially the two highest ELO players. Reach's PvZ was always suspect, and Savior's zvp was impeccable.
The 3 protoss kings really made it farther than they should have. They've always had a tendency to be inconsistent.
Come think of it, Much is like the modern day Kingdom.
Garimoto beating Jaedong? That's a bit of a stretch...
Also, July beat Jaedong? >< And Jaedong didn't win a single 0-1 to 3-1 bo5. Some other results are also weird.
you should run this a bunch of times and get some averages!
-.- in their prime, it was clear that 1. Iloveoov 2. Savior 3. Boxer 4. Nada
ironically, nal_ra is retired lol
wow nice comeback from ra in semi finals
edit: dw he used the thing from hot_bid's thing
sAviOr's slump so bad, simulators say he'd actually lose to rA for once.
Do you have a link for the simulator?
