Well, I did hit my preseason goal of hitting D+ for once -_-. C- might be a different issue though...
Currently I am 31-52 with a 2058 rating:
PvZ 11-25: I have no clue wtf to do, mostly I have been playing on Andromeda. It's like so many ways for me to get fucked if I don't do reaver sair into carrier. It's like if I don't have the reaver out fast, I get hydra broken, or mass ling rushed sometimes cause I can't scout his base (stupid zerglings blocking probe scout).
PvP 8-18: I try to do some strat, but really I have no clue of any real build orders or timings or anything. This is a blank slate.
PvT 8-8: I try random shiz. At the start of the season I kept suiciding stuff to mines. Then I discovered the way of the cheese and my record went up. I enjoying being this guy's ( http://sc.iccup.com/iccscprofile/378625/ ) only tvp loss ;-)
Definitely not a win I wouldve gotten through non cheese heh.
So yea, got D+ and still have no clue what I'm doing at all. Kind of bad considering I've been playing for like 3 or 4 years -__-

I've been playing the game since it came out and I'm only D+, although I haven't been playing seriously until the last few years. Just gotta get the basics down pat with some practice then things become much more easier. I think I can hit C- this season but I'm too lazy to play haha.

Getting info on what the zerg is doing is such a bitch until the sair comes out, and in some cases its like...too late by then if there's a hydra break or ling rush coming :-/
I think thats why it's so much easier for me to get D+ with zerg and terran than with protoss, even though Protoss is where I play 90% of my games.

I'm like 20-24 right now with a 2200 rating. It's so hard right now to go up a rank because everytime you get close, some korean shows up and teaches you who's the vulture whore.
Anyways, I always thought PvZ was really hard for me, and it was really hard for me. But one thing I learned is that as toss you have a lot more different thing syou can do as compared to zerg. Thus, if you can survive past the beginning without cheese, you can usually win. PvP - Double gate into expo ftw? PvT - I feel your cheesing desire, man. Double gate zealots? :D
Dun, worry, I'm sure you're fine.

I tripe gate sometimes at 8 in PvT :-)
Other times i go straight DT asap cut economy as needed, harass with DT -> Expo -> mass goon pump -> push win, hope he doesnt scout me (on Andro that is). I think thats what I did to er15-Venom, or whatever his name was, or maybe it was someone else...
I always felt my options in PvZ were limited, like either
1) +1 timing push on certain maps 2) Big naked balls (but that depends on what the zerg does...) 3) Big generic ball with storms (sigh -_- no fun) 4) Sair/Reaver/Carrier (all good!) 5) Sair/DT (seems to not go so well on andro for some reason...idk why)
SO many more things I can do with zerg in zvp :-(

Okay if you're having problems getting cock probe blocked by those asshole zerglings, you just gotta remember: PvZ is all about the protoss not making a mistake. If you make a single mistake and your opponent is remotely competent, you lose, almost guaranteed. If your opponent goes 9pool and your wall is slightly off or your probe moves when the zerglings get there due to lack of hold position and you didn't spam S enough, you lose. If you can't scout and you assume hydra break and Z goes mutas, you lose. If you can't scout and you assume mutas and Z goes hydra break, you lose.
So another one that you should start doing (that if you fuck up you lose, yeah more shit to worry about fucking up) is to make sure you always get a probe or two out of your base before his first zerglings arrive. It'll hurt your eco just a bit but 1: at D+ 1/2 probes isn't gonna make a difference, 2: You have 2 nexuses to pump probes out of.
So just make sure from now on when you FE to always send one or two probes out to random places on the map NOT in the path he'll take his zerglings. I usually send one to the place I want to expo next (so I can't get lurker contained for example and never be able to expand), and I send one to an expansion close to the zerg base. Then when you think it's time his tech is up but his sunken by his ramp isn't up yet (you'll have to learn this timing), send that probe into his base.
If he's the kind of asshole zerg (read: all zergs) to leave zerglings outside your choke on patrol preventing any probes from leaving, he'll shit his pants and immediately alt>qq upon seeing your ninja gaiden probe in his base scouting his tech.

From a Zerg perspective, you want to pressure the Zerg as early as possible - get him making units, not building up his econ. It doesn't matter if it's zealots or corsairs - just don't let him get too large. And Zerg hate storms and reavers. Keep a balanced unit mix - every time I see a Protoss roll out with a bunch of dragoons and no melee, I just laugh and flank with zerglings.
