I found the Arirang books pretty useful, but I'm going to look at textbooks more extensively later on this year.

Wait so you're doing this in London? Or in Seoul? One thing I found here was that, although my Korean language course taught me a whole bunch of "important rules" about the language and culture, real Koreans are much nicer about it and don't really care if you break the rules. Like I don't think you have to use the honorifics with a girl you're meeting to hang out with, even if she is older than you. And people drink soup out of the bowl all the time, WTF.

I think I read about these clubs in one of your other posts. The idea sounds prettty appealing...

Hah yeah I'm pretty zero manner when I'm eating already. Slurping is my forte, as well as sprinkling the area around me in rice and veg during an intense shovelling session.

ROFL. I thought you were saying something profound. But the korean vocabulary was really unfamiliar so I whipped out my dictionary (always on hand ofc). After "translating" the "punch", I burst out laughing.
+ Show Spoiler [for the clueless] +
"Punch them in the motherfucking dick!"
Edit: why the apology? I loved it.
