Well I finally got some of my friends into SC. Not super competitively or anything, but they'll play real maps and not UMS or BGH.
Anyways I'm gonna do some 1v2's with them. I'm a Zerg player, and they are Terran and Protoss. They're slightly better than b.net noobs, with a knowledge of basic builds and decent multi-tasking. But my APM is twice theirs so they thought this would be fair, even with me insisting that APM isn't that important lol.
Oh well, either way I'll be playing some ZvTP and I was wondering on what tips/strategies/words of wisdom TL might have for me. The map we're playing for sure is Colosseum, but please recommend me any maps that could help the lone Zerg versus 2 players =)
tl;dr - I'm gonna do a 1v2 as Z vs. P and T, help!

mmm I usually try to take out 1 guy first then overcome the disadvantage with skill.
It really depends on how good your friends are. If they sit back in their base and turtle, you can whore sunkens, mass mutas and do a gosu double harass at both their mains :D

I was in a similar position a while back.
I wasn't nearly as good as I am now (not that I'm good now) but the guys I played against were like 40 APM noobs who had no idea of current strategy or anything. We played some 1v2s Z v PT on Longinus II. While they both sucked, I still couldn't beat them because the protoss would cannon rush me while the Terran would straight macro (as well as he could with ~60 APM). I had a lot of trouble with it because I was expecting 2 gate + 2 or 3 rax rush.

I do this a lot with my friends actually, and if you're zerg, try to kill or set back one with 9 pool speedling build. granted, it will leave you economically behind, but it's better to kill or at least damage one with 9 pool. if it doesn't do anything, just go into lurkers? if their micro isn't too good, lurk+ling can kind of give you map control for a little while
but don't believe me. my friends are worse than the average b.netter.

I'm a terran user, so I generally fast expand and move out with 3 dropships of goliaths (using buildings and whatnot to defend attacks before that). For zerg, I'd probably rush to lurkers. I don't know what I'd do against a zealot/marine rush though =[ just hope it doesn't come?
