EPTWe were clearly in the lead. The win was ours, and then the enemy P attacks a nexus of mine that is warping in with his dt. I repeatedly spammed escape on my nexus RIGHT as it warped in. BW then changed colors for a split-second and instantly crashed. I'm positive that this crash was due to my spamming escape on that almost-finished nexus, and that we would have won the game if I hadn't been dropped. Luckily for my ally, the opponent allied him and he didn't get penalized for my BW crashing.
However, I did, which I find pretty annoying. I'd take the lost points if I had legitimately disconnected but getting lost points due to some stupid glitch is no fair
I got the replay from my ally and to me it's extremely obvious that we would win, although I'm sure it's not so obvious to an iccup admin and I won't get points back for it. Just to paint a picture, the enemy Z was eliminated and not even in the game, and it was me with 3 bases, and a 4th coming (the canceled nexus) with my obs just popping, 10 archons, 24 zealots, 10 goons, and 10 HT (~130 pop), + my ally with like 20 mutas and just about to get his expo running, vs a single Protoss with ~100 pop in PURE goons with about 5 HT and no observers vs my dts. Of course the enemy P disagrees with my analysis but I think anyone can tell that my unit combination would just slaughter pure goons+ HT. Game was on Vampire, which is why my army is composed of a trillion gas.
Oh well.
