Okay so, lately I've been handed some extra time to immerse myself even MORE completely into SC. Fuck I love SC.
Anyway, I love teaching! I LOVE watching somebody learn from me, and mature their knowledge and skill in a certain area. Since I now have some time on my hands that I could take on a casual student, I figure I may aswell see if anyone on TL wants to have a reliable and fun practice partner, who can hopefully shed some light on areas of play that may confuse you.
Disclaimer: I don't think I'm some super fucking good player or a top foreigner or any shit like that. There's still TONS that I'm learning myself. I've been playing since Sc2 announcement and I'm insanely dedicated to improve my game as far as I can go. I'm currently C rank and would like my "student," who is really just a lower level practice partner, to be around D or D+.
Anyway, it's all about fun! And I fucking love improving.
Ideally, you should have a lot of self-awareness, maturity and humility. Dedication to improving and all that. =)
And I, OFCOURSE will not be charging money. That would just be stupid. PM me or something if you're interested and I'll give you my MSN. =D

I really think that people should start using xfire, great tool to quickly identify what friends are playing SC, or any game for that matter.

How do you know if I'm playing SC? Well, if I'm not working, and I'm conscious, odds are good that I am doing something SC related.
I don't use IRC often at ALL, and don't use aim at all either. I'm on msn 24/7 so it's stupidly easy for anyone to reach me at any time. If it wasn't incorporated into my lifestyle so completely, I'd grab Aim or something else, but my MSN is just ALWAYS on.. v_v

I also love teaching people to play, I have a couple of my own students. It's always great to see someone else enjoy it greatly too. :D
Anyway, I'd learn from you, but I'm going to my hometown on vacation, and the internet connection is bad there. Besides, I'm about D+/C- I think. Playing tvp, zvp, tvz and pvt.
Maybe if you're still around in a month or so, then I'll be training for my country's WCG.

Actually Haji, I have about 6 current active students, all of which are incredibly passionate and dedicated. They're already showing significant improvements and results. We've hosted a few games where they play eachother, where I give tips and advice to one player, and a good friend of mine, also a C rank, gives advice to the other. So far, everyone seems to really be enjoying it and atleast 2 of them will gain a rank within a week.
So, everything is going great so far! Everyone's been enjoying it and it's been a blast. If anyone else is interested, go ahead and PM me. I'll set-up tournaments for all these new practice partners aswell.
I'm also going to be doing commentated private vods on replays of the players, upon request.
So if you're super passionate and love SC, and wanna improve, this may be perfect for you.
Also, if you are a C rank or greater and wish to help out, that'd be fantastic too. I also need practice =D.
